I thought Newport made it hard at times for Tranmere, but the finesse of the team is getting better and better. They really do need to control the ball, switch play and be pinpoint. Now they have the pace and pressing to beat ANY team in this league. Apter and Jennings are stand outs.

Great result, but to honest gave the ball away cheaply at times, sloppy. Walker/ Oconnor quite a few times passed in field to give Newport the ball in dangerous area. As for Davies sometimes he does not need to hoof the ball, if he plays it downfield always a chance, but hoofing straight out all the time just give possession away. Dennis needs to look at Connor on how to jump for ball, the ref allowed just as ball was coming a nudge to knock off balance, step forward & jump, Norwood was an expert in doing it. Do like the way we push, sometimes we go down line when open inside. Thought a draw fair result but last 15mins we destroyed them & deserved to win. Looked at table at half time with teams below with games in hand, but at full time a different picture gaining the 3pts.
