FGR might have been 3 up at half time. They played so well, but were very ill disciplined and that cost them. Newport were clinical in the second half and were deserved winners. If FGR have any chance they need a result against Swindon.Getting further away from safety! Troy Deeney is solid man and will give them half a chance. If they get relegated from the Football league, will Dale Vince tire of them ?

Quite honestly the first 50 minutes was the best performance I've seen from FGR in two years. Controlled the game. Comfident. Lots of shots/ chances created. A completely different team after the red. The heads dropped, invited pressure. Dabo was slow and sluggish, didn't react and is to blame for two of the conceded goals imo. Stupid cards - no need to kick the ball away. No need to lunge into a challenge you're never going to win. Jones let the side down big time. 11 v 10 drills in training for sure! It wont be pretty but if FGR can play like those first 50 minutes I can see them getting out of relegation and staying up - just. 🤞

Forest Green facing relegation, in reality it will be imminent. Turning vegan was a big missed steak.

@@GlenNigelMatthews Well that was not a beef when the Forest Green player argued with Newport County match ref and got the red card. It was his vegan bad Tempeh.
