If we are going to be a passing team that likes to play out from the back our passing has to be ALOT better!! We gift teams chances and goals from losing the ball and that’s been happening in the championship all season

Gave them 4 goals very disappointing from that point if view, it was a step too far with so many players missing.

Both teams had so many players missing.... But Chelsea still has better set of players available for them...

An awful lot of mistakes, in defence and we were low on key defenders. I think that's why we are looking for some. With players out to injury. But we did really well, to go this deep realistically anyway.

Made many of these same errors in the league games and were lucky to escape heavy punishments.. Not this time..

Playing out from the back does not work. Carrick needs to change this way of play because our defence aren’t capable of doing it We have conceded far too many goals this season doing it some people may disagree, but that’s my opinion

I feared it could go wrong, but not to that extent. 6 goals is unacceptable.😡

God that was a hard rewatch, bad enough in real life sat in Chelsea end with the plastic fans. Chelsea wasn't even that good just we was horrendous in defence! It's a massive tragedy

Mate I was unfortunately sat in Chelsea end, if this is what "success" looks and feels like, I'm out. Most plastic fans I've ever seen, no signing to three nil, atmosphere from home end was none existing then to top it off the only trophy you have a chance of winning you're 5 nil up in semi final and 78th minute when torture got too much I leave and at least a thousand Chelsea fans leaving ground with me! Absolutely worst support I've ever seen in 40 years of football.

All this nonsense about plastic fans 😂 what does that even mean anymore? When you’re young and choosing some team to support of course you’re going to go with clubs you’ve seen a lot of on the media streams, you might still support your local club though as well. Do you think Man Utd have plastic fans? Or Liverpool?? If not why not? Given a choice kids wouldn’t support Tranmere over Liverpool would they, it’s natural to choose a successful club. We got to another cup final eh, what are we supposed to do if not celebrate that? Cos it’s only the Carabao Cup? Maybe those fans left early as it was 6-1 and the game was over eh. Or maybe they were fans who weren’t Chelsea supporters like you. Middlesbrough got put in their rightful place.

Idk if you are a Chelsea fan but if you are just realise that you spent 1 billion in the transfer window where as Middlesbrough only spent a couple million were talking no more than 25 million so putting “💩💩💩” isnt really that hurtful as we put 2 goals past you and we have made it further then all the championship clubs in the country Also chelsea spend that much but i dont see you doing great in the season Sure i saw you put 6 goals past us but you remember your squads price should be fighting for top 3 and no fighting for top 10
