    I remember back when Spieth won the Masters and a few other tourneys back in 2015 and had a similar humble demeanor with a seemingly strong future. Strangely, it seems he's never been in contention for anything past a last win in 2017. Will be curious to see how Sheffler does.

    @@stevejensen3471 Spieth won in April of last year and has had a nice resurgence in his career. Two top 3 finishes in majors in 2021, also. He’ll win more majors.

    Scottie was never a played I knew much about of followed prior to the masters but I gained a ton of respect for him. He was always so calm and polite even in tough positions and he totally deserved this win

    Scottie is pure class and is such a humble champion! He seems older than 25, is so mature and the reality of him becoming World No 1 so quickly and winning four big tournaments in the last two months is enough to make any pro’s mind go crazy! This guy is obviously talented, humble, respectful, educated and lovable, a perfect combination for a champion!

    What an absolute unit this guy is. An amazing showing. If not for that week-long outing, Rory might very well be the 2022 champ shooting 60-freaking-4 on Sunday. Great winner, great field, great Masters. Some day I hope to walk those hallowed grounds and I'll probably shed a tear or two on my way in.

    Sheffler is the dominant player in pro golf, he's now won 4 tournaments including a major in the last 2 months - no one else even close to him. It may be a long time before you see someone win 4 of 5 tournaments played over two months, and, in addition to that you'll never again see a major winner 4-putt the last hole on Sunday. 😉

    What a player….beating Rahm at the Ryder Cup and having won 3 prior to the Masters. He dominated the last 2 days…can’t wait for the presidents cup and the next Ryder Cup.

    "The human condition is to make things bigger than they are." I find this a very interesting comment. I agree. But the human condition also often makes things smaller than they are. But his general point, that we are just sort of floating along in the stream of life and what's around us is much bigger than us....I like that alot. I think it brings a person alot of comfort if they can truly believe in this and live their life this way.

    He should have a very strong career. I don't see him winning 15 majors like Tiger has. Probably 5 or 6, which is MIckelson type of accomplishments. There are a lot of excellent young players, probably more competition than Tiger had.
