    Chris, great video. I’m trying to decide whether to invest in the R5C. I have 2 questions you might be able to help with. There are occasions where I want to use the R5C to stream to my Mac Studio using the HDMI output into my Elgato Cam Link 4K capture device. Can you confirm the the R5C will output clean HDMI suitable to stream or use as a webcam? If so, any special setting I should be aware of? And, I assume I don’t need to be recording in order to stream out the HDMI port? Secondly, do you have any experience of using the Canon PD-E1 to power the R5C during longer studio shoots? The user manual indicates that the Canon PD-E1 can be used to charge the battery when camera power is off, and power the camera when the power is on. Can you confirm that this works? Thanks!

    Hi! Great video! I just want to ask how actually to shoot in 4k 120. I can do anything, from 8k 60 to raw, but when I set slow and fast motion setting to 120 (or 100 for PAL) the record frames is 50p, no matter what I set. And in premiere I see the clip at 50, not more. Can you help me?

  • @ChrisSpiegl

    @ChrisSpiegl

    2 жыл бұрын

    This is because the camera records it into a 60/50/30/24p file and the 120fps are slowed down for your in the camera already to fit that frame per second file. Basically: If you set the camera to 50fps and then set slow/fast to 120 The camera records 120fps for let's say 30 seconds. Then you end up with a 50fps file which is 60 seconds long. In the timeline you see a 60 second long 50fps file. But it's already half the speed. Then you can slow it down another 50% and end up with 120 fps and 120 seconds.

Therefore , your review looks so useful for us, the users! I noticed that your video menu have the same letters /signs size as the photo menu of the camera!
