Thanks for the lesson)) P.s. French is staying on my joke 😂 It’s a long joke I’ve made a long time ago but it keeps getting new “walks in”. So. German walks into a bar where God is giving out languages. “Well,” says God. “You can have this one but all spaces in between words are to be paid for.” German nods sternly and takes it but decides to save money by using less spaces. Then French walks into the bar, and God says, “Well, have too many left now, for you - I’ll make a discount! Half is free, you take one letter - you get one more for free!” So French thinks it’s a good deal and takes more letter than they wanted, and leaves either that. Then Serbian walks into this bar. God looks at what’s left and is a bit confused because French took so many vowels. “For you, the vowels are to be paid for while the consonants are free,” decides God. So Serbian leaves, Irish walks in but they like that’s it’s a bar and lose interest in the languages and God, so Irish leaves with “two letters make three sounds” but “five letters make one sound” and they couldn’t care less…

People here who try to learn German LOVE to complain about how hard it is and how long the words but but seriously I think it’s better than these silent letters and inconsistent spelling French and English have!

​@@lordronn472 I took German in high school and my highest mark was dictation - easy because it's so phonetic! The hardest bits for me were all the strange cases in the grammar.

@@iqi616 yeah cases, ending and especially articles can be very hard! Generally German is considered harder than French and MUCH harder than English but unlike the other 2 it’s Grammar is somehow logical
