Great explanations. What are your thoughts on Vari-ND's such as Nisi's Tru-Color 1.5-5 stop and 5-9 stop variable ND's? edit: Specifically for photography. Not necessarily for vlogging or video.

That’s a good question. I do think they will be come the future of filters. The trend seems to be smaller and more compact designs. Also the glass quality is getting better and better, so the X effect etc isn’t such an issue anymore
