Exactly what I was thinking. I've been cutting my husband's hair for years and this is the first video that depicts his hair type. I'm hopeful that today's cut will turn out awesome because of this video.
For anyone watching. This was not an easy cut, or hair texture. Did y’all see the growth patterns and density variations? Sheesh. I was nervous.

This is what i like about MC, real deal. Im sick of these barber videos with customers that have nice hair, and dont have crazy cow licks- thats not real life. I deal with mutiple haircuts like that everyday. Also, i have to disagree with butch haircut, you just need some patience and really observe its growth pattern and work with it🙂.

A tip : you can watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
This haircut is like an asmr video for me. So relaxing and talented barber. Thank you MC Barber.
Hello, enjoy your new shop.. Best wishes from Athens
I’ve seen a lot of people mentioning that the hair appears dry, but I’m personally seeing the effects of silicone buildup when this customer’s hair is damp, as well as a coarse hair shaft/texture. No single product is going to change the texture overnight, and I think this is an excellent cut for someone who needs low maintenance and a large period of time between styling (self isolation during the plague). I have a very similar hair texture, and in this case, the hair is not going to lay flat. The razor was a good choice for texturing the top, to make sure the strands fall separately rather than in clumps as scissor cut would have done. For example, thinning shears might have a similar effect. This was very relaxing to watch.

I feel like nothing beats deep point cutting in this texture
this guy would be an end boss in a barber video game
This is such a great cut!
MC, you're a great inspiration for me. I'm starting my career as a hairdresser and love your work (even your bio). Best regards from Czech republic 🖤
Very nice work. Most barbers would freak out over hair like that. Congrats on the new place.
Great job! Beautiful shop!
That looks awesome. I like the technique.
Hope he maintain his look like that. The grows of his hair is not easy to cut and style coz it grows everywhere. All the best for 2021 xx
The decor of the new barber shop looks very classic, warm and homely.

Good job. How much time do you spend on client typically not videos sir? And how much do you charge client for just haircut (let's say skin fade)?

Nice work! 110% + better looking ... good hair wash service.. I used to go to a shop where this one older lady.. and I mean older than my grandmother.. would be a bit aggressive when she shampooed my hair ..

Mc the neck line is too low looks like his neck is long - why not fade it , or bring the line higher

That's what I thought too, he should've tapered the neck line instead of that long square neckline
@andreamartin2953

He explains that he tries to keep the natural hair line because upon grow out it looks better. Also, regarding a fade, this client doesnt look like he does a lot of hair cut upkeep, so the closer to natural the better. He could definately use product in his hair before the blow out and after, though! Very difficult hair!

Always cut curly hair dry with a razor. If you wet it, it gets cut too short
What were you using to blow the hair away?

This is the question I had. Is it the same technique for curly hair? When cutting with a razor. Great content. Thank you so much. Really good cut too.

MC barber is usually A+, but this cut ain’t it. It’s like he did the whole haircut without ever checking how the hair was going to fall or what it wanted to do. It’s wild that very high quality barbers still don’t know how to cut or style curly hair.
@sand-7938
2 жыл бұрын
I dont think his haircut is bad at all. It is his way of cutting it. Maybe his hair is rough. The barber is an awarded professional sp I dont think his work is sh*t.
Leave that poor boy alone
Did not like the outcome. With the texture and curly hair not certain the razor was the best option.
All ok but why messy top. No good. Sorry. All hair pushed back would have been better
Tough hair growth patterns
Didn’t need thinning, looks like he stuck is finger I a electrical socket
He got hair for like 5 human Head
No no no should of tapered the back It's too Square messed up the top he shouldn't of razored at least left it longer and played with the hair to see how it flows it's too short, no saying he can't cut because he can but he just choose the wrong style or method. It's a shame as there was so much hair to play with
his hair isn’t really curly. it’s thick and grew out too long, it’s wavy. neck line is so horrid, who does it that low, you’re lining up his back hair already....

I mean, it looked clean. I'll give it that. But this was so disappointing. I feel like this should have been titled "how to erase curls to fit in with the norm". Why you had to gentrify his head like that? 😢
I know you’re exceptional stylist, however this particular cut doesn’t look very good? What happened?
