    Awesome! I was looking for something like this for moths! I'm using Leonardo since last year, but never tried all the stuff it offers. I always tough that "train models" was something to do with the style of the image, not with a character, so I never go there and try it :) Thank you mate, you made my day brighter!

    This is a great tutorial and probably the best one that I’ve come across online that really explained how to do this properly, also I think the eyes were extra blue because it was still left in the prompt, despite using the model which the eyes were already defined, so it may have enhanced the blue in her eyessimply because it was repeated. At least, that’s my assumption.

    Hi Ben! Great video, really useful. But I'm looking to tell a story with images. Somehow like storyboarding in a comicbook style. Whats could be the process? Should I train the dataset with comicbook style images or more like a human-like model?

  • @blogwithben

    @blogwithben

    3 ай бұрын

    Thanks for watching! Why not try both? You could generate two separate but consistent image styles by using the image generator and then train two models with those two separate datasets to see which one would work for your story boards. Do you think you could do that? Great idea though. I love the idea of using these characters for a storyboard!

    I m totally new to Leonardo but boy am I glad I was introduced to it and also found your video. This is lightyears ahead of Firefly, Copilot image generator or even MJ (in terms of user friendliness). Two questions: after watching this vid - using the seed method produces MUCH better results. Why would you train a model? I thought it would be better but it was WAY worse. 2nd - Can u update this vid as Leonardo introduced the image guidance feature which apparently makes this whole process easier and better (?)

    Hi! Thanks so much for watching! I've actually gotten that question quite a bit and I haven't had a chance to test it. I don't think it's possible at the moment, but I suppose you could try to create a consistent image with three main characters and use that seed image as the base for future prompts. I don't think it's possible with the trained model though. At least not yet. :)

    Thanks. Great tutorial. For using characters in storytelling we need consistency in outfits as well. So, presumably, if you prompted her wearing a white T-shirt, denim jeans and white sneakers, you could generate enough images of her in that outfit to pretty much guarantee consistency of both face and outfit, right?

  • @blogwithben

    @blogwithben

    2 ай бұрын

    Yes, exactly. However, it won't be perfect. I've found that you have to really drill down your prompts to get the outfits consistent. There was always a little variation in the clothes when I tried that. Great question though. I think the tech is getting there and we will be able to do what you're needing very soon. Thanks so much for watching and using the tutorial. I really appreciate it!

    Hi! Those are all great ideas. I think you would need to be explicit in your prompts when it comes to those details. So, after you create your seed image, just add those specific details to the prompt to keep it consistent throughout,. At least that's how I'd go about it. Thanks for watcing!

    My biggest issue with using Leonardo for character models which I have done for over a year.Is that if you change the actual generation model then it will lose the actual features for the character and adapt it to the style of that model. When Leonardo updated their photo real the diversion 2 it screwed up the output of all my characters.So I still use version 1 for them. I like the output better.Anyway after you run it through universal upscale post edit.

First I generate the two characters walking on a path but I can't create a picture of them both talking to each other. Then I get other characters every single time. So my question is; can you generate two characters and make scenes with them? For example walking on a path, sitting on a bench. Thanks in advance I really love your content

    Yeah, it's not perfect, but you gotta keep trying new prompts and molding it until you get the result you want. It's kind of like tech art in a way. Thanks for watching!

    I don't exactly agree with your definition of a seed. A seed is just a number used to create a noise pattern. So it's not actually an image itself. So if you create and image you like with that seed then you can use the exact same prompt along with other settings to recreate that image. Then you can change colors or other slight modifications and get slightly different results. I was confused when I first started because people keep saying "seed image". So in my mind I thought it was some random image of a bird or landscape or person.

    Thanks for watching. I get what you're saying. Your seed image set in Leonardo AI uses a fixed set of numbers, but it then represent the seed from what all other image generations are based off of. That's how I interpret it and teach it. I hope that helps and thanks again for watching!

    Hi! Thanks for watching! It takes some practice and refiing of the prompts. It's not perfect either. The technology isn't there yet in my opinion. However, you can get some really close results by refining your prompts and experimenting with different ways of feeding the prompt to the AI. At least that's my experience with it. :)

    Creating a consistent character is not hard now days, millions of videos out there, the hard part is to actually grow ur following and monetize.

    You're absolutely correct! However, I just wanted to show people how easy it was to create the character with Leonardo.ai. I'm a huge fan of their image generator and it's by far the easiest one I've ever used. As you said, the hard part is growing your social following. However, once you have a consistent character, it's just up to you to put in the work and start building an audience. Thanks for watching and good luck!

    Getting money is always the most difficult thing. Humans invented this shit called money, then they made it as vital as water & oxygen, and then they made it near impossible to obtain.

    You absolutely can. Brand partnerships and sponsorships for example. Similar to human influencers, AI influencers can collaborate with brands to promote products or services. Because they can be tailored to embody the perfect brand ambassador, they offer a unique and controlled marketing avenue. Brands pay for their products to be featured, reviewed, or incorporated into the AI influencer's content. When your AI influencer has 300,000 Instagram followers, you can negotiate some lucrative deals.

    You create a social profile and grow the ai influencer's following. That the first step. Then you monetize via brand partnerships and sponsorships, social media monetization, merchandising, licensing and syndication, custom content creation, etc. There are multiple ways to monetize a large following.

    Creating consistent characters (CC) using GenAI is NOT possible. Think about it. The whole idea with GenAI images is to create unique images. If the tools left behind breadcrumbs for us to pick up in order to create CC the whole idea about GenAI would be compromised. Let’s say I create a unqiue awesome character. Then I give the formula to someone else. That person then creates other images of the EXACT same character, just in different postures and environments. For some stupid reason we part ways. And now for the legal battle! Who owns the character and formulas?? This very quickly gets out of hand. Moreover, you never see a lot of ‘consistent characters’ over, say, 20-30 different images and not even the environment/background. They always appear without other persons present. Once and for all: CC is NOT possible. There will always be easy to spot subtle differences and at some point it will be pointed out. Tools like Midjourney and Leonardo AI claiming they can do CC are on the wrong track.
