Gentlemen agreement where everybody plays god tier penguin deck for this tourney

As a branded player who just took it to master rank this season I agree. Non branded players overrate/overhate it. Snake eye, Lab, Rescue Ace, stun, and some pendulum decks are much more broken than Branded. Aluber being semi limited is a joke, ash or imperm shut down your entire turn if you normal summon it. It’s crazy that the bystial cards are limited to 1 but Flamberge is still running at 3. One of the most broken cards ever.

Infernoble got a huge buff with the new pack - SP is a warrior (so you can link it off into Isolde after using the banish effect) and they got the new Phoenix Gearblade retrain which they get to send off Isolde to add back to get a Gearfried negate much earlier. Deffo the best wombo combo deck.

Salamgreat is super consistent. Like you need 3 handtraps to stop them from getting started.

Solid rogue probably under vanquish soul

I've become a lover of Vanquish Soul Horus. Whenever I draw one of the unplayable hands, like two Borgs and a Caesar, if I get an Imsety or Tomb I can pitch them for Sarc knowing I can add them back to hand with Rock and then Coachking can either attempt to fill up the hand with VS engine or use Sky Prison to block some GY shenanigans for the next turn.

Do i have to have a computer to play in the tournament??

Would love to see a good decklist with memento and Horus mixed in a video you played the deck pretty amazingly. I’ve been playing it a lot lately and climbing the ladder fast with the 2 mixed but I feel it can be optimized better

Bonfire + Agnimal Candle Its my new favourite tech for several decks. Atm its in Vanquish Soul. I can make s:p and Dempsey without a normal summon. The end board is usually either Barrone, Chengying or sinister sovereign. Rock of the vanquisher, Snow Devil, Jialong and s:p It feels kinda similar to the Revolution synchron version of the deck

Got to master rank with evil eye, the ultimate slept on deck, and I love it

Infernoble pretty nasty with all the cards we have now. Ive been playing a 50 card snake eye minanko Infernoble list that just goes forever

I still play my old Gladiator Beast deck (I used to mix them with tri-brigade or tenyi but now I mix them with Horus) that makes a good job even on tier 2 decks. Even though I'm still low on the ladder so i think that players don't use them at their best but even if my Gladiator sucks, I'll play them till death 🤣

He is so right about Branded, they always have fusion in opening hand

The fact that RDA isn’t on here is pretty criminal. Took me to masters and I had probably a 75-80% win rate

I was gonna enter with a Horus deck. Way exciting my favorite Yugi tuber is hosting a tourney

Blind second mikanko or Dogmatika Mikanko are really good. Mikanko can deal with rescue ace and snake eyes really well. Since with Hiu-li out for mikanko. They can't target any of mikankos cards. Though they do fear goddess if they get access to it.

the problem with salads is that not a lot of people know how to play it. i've been matching snake-eyes without problems with the top 4 honkong decklist that has wind-up zenmaines

great list man only thing I would change myself is switch stun and SHS but that's whatever

I know u play dino a lot but that placement is actually not real so many of the dino mains consistently perform with the deck in high level MD tourneys and they reach M1 no problem as well. I really don’t see how decks like memento or floo could be considered better when those decks havent done anything in a minute in any comp setting.

At the end of the day if you want a tier list based on objective stats you can just look at tournament results and call it a day. My video is based on my own experience/opinion, especially for a deck like dinos where I tried various builds.

Blue-Eyes Bystial does the Mannadium endboard better than Mannadium, imo. Spright Elf, IP, Baronne, Dis Pater, and a fully protected Chaos Angel. Branded Regained/Beast. Druiswurm + Blue-Eyes Jet waiting in the wings, with SP + Underworld Goddess available for IP. Mannadium gets about half of that, with twice the effort

Mannadium is actually the best performing deck in Master and Diamond currently. That’s not me saying it that’s just the stats.

Just got to Master 5 with Predaplant Branded. Deck is still good but I see why you put it on Tier 3.

I don't really see Purrely being that strong tho, It's not super consistent to have Noir with 5+ materials and field spell. Struggles a lot going second and finishing games.

Purrely deck is really consistent you can get 5x mat noir pretty easy with sleepy memory if not you get 4x mat but field spell with protection from targeting anyways. Go second isn't easy rn for a lot of decks even snake eye just hand trap wars for the most part and hope to stop the opponent building a board it is what it is

It's completely broken, and on top of which branded has the best synergy with Bystials. Memento is broken, but there's one key way to counter it, during the first move, destroy all traps/spells. Memento needs a specific trap to control the game. They always have that trap, but if you destroy it before they can get going, you win. Lol VS is not Rogue, I crush snake-eyes with VS, not to mention like you said it plays around most handtraps.

I am confident in saying that Branded is noticeably better then any variation of lab, it just is. Lab has so many conditions for their cards, while most branded cards just directly does stuff.

If we want to make tier that based on tournament results IN MD then manadium sometimes not even rogue level. Maxx C format is different from tcg, most gass deck got hindered here.

Branded, cyberse/mathmech, and infernoble decks have so much gas bro. Purrely and Lab get killed with a properly placed ash or imperm 🤦🏽‍♂️

There is no way that lab is on spot with cats. Cats got soft banlist while lab got a way heavier hit .cats are easy tier 1 just too hard to play. Like Tier 2 decks are Lab/albaz and maybe Runick Bystial. Tier 3 Vs/unchained/math/swordsoul No way that infernobles are above salamangreat they both share the same fate of dying to max C ,while at least salamangreat got a better second gameplan because they can have more hand traps.
