I know I'm going to sound like an idiot but, mine is not working... When I make my shape and go to the text tool and then bring it over to my shape. It doesn't change to the wavy line. I have made sure that the layer is selected. 😑🤥🤥

Hey! Just making sure here...you create a shape (let's say a circle) -then you go to the artistic text tool in your toolbar (the one with an A that looks like it's inside a box NOT the frame text tool) - you go close to the line on the shape you created and it doesn't change? let me know!

Hey Elizabeth! As Wulfrig noted for sure! You can add text to any line curve, you just may need to adjust the size, spacing, etc to make it look good. Thanks for watching!

You guys are all the same with this stuff. You assume we know something about this. Your wrong. We don’t know nothing, that’s why we’re here. You know what your doing, but we don’t. Your video, is useless to people just starting out. Just a couple of minutes, and I’m like, wtf is he talking about?

Hey Charlie I'm sorry about that, this is more of an advanced video on text. Most of my comments tend to be good regarding beginners, I usually try to keep that in mind but try to provide content on Affinity for all levels.
