In real life, Donnie Yin should stop smoking before this movie becones his reality if it had not already. So many of us love, appreciate, respect and admire him.

Donnie Yen and Scott Adkins are great actors and this film was exciting and fun. Please don't forget that these Ip Man films are fictional depiction of fighting. The wire work used to make some of the sequences in this film look thrilling is obvious to anyone able to see it. A martial art is only as good as the practitioner, and depends on how much time and effort he/she is willing to put into training.

Jackie Chan is good at stunt. Not to say he don't know kung fu 😅

The fact that he did all this and had cancer and came out on top proves how much of a legend Master IP was mad props and respect.

Those cars from 1950s are absolutely beautiful, keepers as the collectors treasures . Life is a battle either with external or internal forces. Actually most people live fighting two wars, one on the outside for survival in material sustenance & the other one to preserve health especially when cancer or other terminal ailments all of a sudden appear . Meditation ,Yoga, Tao & more of the spiritual practices are just a battle for peace and balance . At 29:45 + that actor playing Bruce Lee is a really good one , almost identical to Bruce Lee 👍. Amazing how he can move 👍 .....just like Bruce Lee .... Scott Atkins always delivers absolutely great performance & Donney Yen is incredibly perfect ....

Win or loose, the spirit of Ip man's teaching and belief has been an inspiration for many including me being of Maori decent.

One of the greatest of all Chinese films I have ever seen and I have seen a few thousand. I love Martial arts with history and powerful skilled fighters. Thank you for posting this❤

Its wooden, dont forget.. if u can practice ur punches on it, that means u can take heavy punches from others without feeling 100% pain bcoz ur muscles are built compact and used to the pain endured in that wooden dummy training.. just opinion😊

I loved this series. It was superbly done. It is about: humanity, honour, self-discipline, and dignity. I've watched it at least four times and cry at the last in the series every time.

There is a lot of information in Google, GuangZhou, and Hong Kong. Search from TVB, Shaw Brothers, Mei Ah archives. I heard that the original Wing Chun was a nun, and invented Wing Chun for women. Notice the Wing Chun movements protect the upper chest, and the front lower torso of women practitioners.

Previous to this movie, Donnie Yen was also main character, and starred in Ip Man One, Two, and Three. On KZread, I can only find trailers. I'll keep trying. I watched the first three on a paid modem.

@@choychanma5695 I think it was the blade movie where a group of them went underground, Blade 2, he played Snowman. The one with Ron pearlman (hell boy) who blade put a small device on the back of his head. And lighthammer with the thors hammer. 😎

IP man love the moves!! The should make more. I wanted to see Jet Lee total Kung fu master fight Scott Adkins. But donnie yen should have broken Scott 2 arms Scott did not get enough beating..!!! I still think and he is, Jet Lee is over all the best there is complete master. I'd like to see the younger version of Jet Lee and Donnie yen of course they would be brutal Kung fu fighters.

Try typing "Hong Kong Cantonese movies 1950s, 1960s." There's a biographical movie of Bruce Lee when he was an infant. The role playing the father is Hong Kong movie star Tony Leung Kar Fai.

There are more movies has been arrived it is a good garanty to all achievers to learn about martial arts,I thank you very much.

Hello, would you know what to type in KZread search bar for Ip Man One, Two, and Three ? Previously, I watched all three from a private modem. Currently, I can only find trailers of Ip Man on KZread.

Gosh, I would have loved to see Bruce Lee against the Adkins character. My guess is that he would have won more quickly than an ailing (and injured) Ip Man.

MMA is created by the western barbarian and for the barbarian only. kongfu isn't for fighting nor killing. It's for good health and self defence when necessary. We learn kongfu and also the morale of kongfu.
