Just in case anyone is watching this in 2020, this was really easy to do I’ll list what I did. My car- 2009 318d e90 RHD. Symptoms- Driver side switch cluster wasn’t working. Diagnostics: Checked fuses F66, F78, F79, F70 in glovebox fusebox. No blown fuses. Removed side trim panel as described in video, didn’t bother disconnecting battery just made sure the key was out of ignition. Unplugged switch and saw corrosion on contacts, used alcohol wipes to remove and reseated. Tested by putting key in ignition and is now working. Hope this helps someone in the future

For those who own E90 328i/330i, in US, the fuse number is actually 75 but is in the same location as shown in video. Wipe tongs with alcohol pad or simular, and put back in; worked for me. Will buy new fuse as they are dirt cheap.

Thanks, bro! You saved me so much stress! My driver window randomly acted up, it wouldn't auto roll up but would auto roll down, and stupid me messed around & found out when my window opened and wouldn't close at all while it's pouring rain outside. I took the fuse out & wiped it off with alcohol pad and put it back, and it worked. Not sure if auto roll up is still defunct, but I nkt messing around with it untill it stops raining & I have a cover to throw over my car. Hopefully it auto rolls back, otherwise it's annoying having a BMW that's master window will not auto roll up lol.

I just wanted to go on here and let you know that my 2013 335is recently got an interior detail and I thought I was going to need a new switch beccaue it may have gotten wet my driver side panel was not working. After watching a couple videos I decided to insert my key on the driver door on fully open and fully close windows when you hold the key all the way to the right and all the way to the left. After I did that my window switch started working again : )

Hi There, Thanks for the videos! Very informative. I have 2011 135i and I am experiencing a problem with the Passenger side window. It stops working sometimes and then randomly starts again after some time (maybe days). I had the regulator replaced before and also some expensive electronic computer part by BMW. No luck. I can hear a click on the master control when I press it. Sometimes there is very window nudge but most of the time no movement at all. After I keep clicking a few times, the click sound goes away completely as well. Any thoughts how I should start to trouble shoot.

Hi i gave my car to a mechanic who repair BMW only to replace my tappet cover which is a new aftrmarket , however after he completed my car came out worst the idling is totally offf and car shakes the electric windows dont work the indicators dont work da emergency lights dont work please can someone advise did he do something whil;e stripping the tappet cover that caused all this please guys.

@@coolexperiments205 Mine turned out to be the footwell module. If your turn signals/ headlights/interior lights are on the fritz. Then it might be your issue also.

I own a 2011 328i coupe. When I lower either front window part of the way, it won't go back up. If lower either window all the way, it goes back up fine. Is this possibly a fuse problem?

No. If it works, sometimes it’s not the fuse. If the fuse was blown, it would never work.

Hello, I have a 2017 BMW X6M and the master window switch stopped working after I took the car to a car detail. The side folding mirrors were folded in after I parked the car so now because the master switch is not working, the mirrors also do not open. Which fuse or fuses should I be looking for to check?

My front door window and indicator are not working what's going on

So I had to replace my entire driver side door. I’m getting power to the new door and the central lock works on new door but I cannot get the windows to work from the new door. Any suggestions?

Hello. Thank you for all the information you are sharing. I am having a problem with my driver's side window and i can't fix it. The window doesn't work when i push the button but with car key lock and unlock the window rolls fine so it's not the motor problem. I aslo tested the button with the multimeter and it works fine. Can it be a control unit? Or fuse? Or wiring.

Problem with inverted mirror and window lifter controls. If they work but inverted, the left one is right and the right left, also the mirrors, to raise them you have to go down. i bought the car and just discovered that problem bmw 328i 2011

My bmw 320d e90/sedan 2009 model is having some issues kindly make a video on it, Points to be noted 1- Car Starts On Neutral But Doesn't Starts On Parking 2- Car Is Having Brake Yellow Light And Traction Control Light In Dashboard 3- After Turning The Car Of For 1-2 Hours The Car Doesn't Starts, But If Giving It A Jump Start, The Car Starts On Neutral. But doesn't starts with the button but after starting and driving it for few kilometers the car starts with the button! I really need your help
