So akhi I am wasting 1or 2😢 hours a day and also failing in the exam I feel guilty as because the people around me achieved a lot And as a kite with out the rope lam wandering around Pray for me to achieve my goals and should not waste time as my time is nearing Just felt like saying....... Only thing I didn't understand was the last poem:"Had it not been for hardship, all men would have become great;Magnanimty causes poverty and bravery, death". I didn't understand the part starting at Magnanimty. Does it cause poverty and death and bravery? Or how do I understand it?

What does the last hadith (3:55) mean? That if the Prophet (S) was unable to perform that act that day, he would pray 12 raka'ats?

Asslamalaykum, brother isn't al mutanabbi the one who claimed prophet hood? Its a question, and if yes. Then shouldn't we prevent ourselves for praising such person or his poetry.

Walaykum salam. It is said that he claimed this. He was then imprisoned after which he repented. The ulema have praised his poetry but not his person.
