Yes my precious, that's true. The churches have gone on with their dogmas and left the old time religion behind. Christians don't read the bible anymore. Very sad. We need the truth of the Word of God. More so now!!!

Then the Church's that Speak in fake tongues, which are demons, they speak the same jibberish as witch's do, but claim it is the Holy Spirit. True tongues are tongues are are when people from different nations are present, the preacher speaks and everyone understands in their own tongue. People are being deceived by Satan. So many false teachings being taught in most churches. When they left the tyranny of the Roman Catholic Church and came to America for freedom of worship, they brought with them some of the false doctrines from the Catholic Church into most Protestant Churches many, many years ago without questioning if they were correct.

I recall my aunt who passed away in 1973 and absolutely loved this hymn. I'm 71 now and I've been looking for a good rendition of this old hymn. I believe I've found a truly beautiful one. Thank you and God bless you. From Shillong, Meghalaya,India.

These angelic voices are truly a gift from God. The harmony is perfect with superb accompaniment of the piano and the violin. Wow! I will never tire listening to this song over and over.

I heard this song first in 1977 when I was studying 9th std in Duthie school. Mrs. Titus an old teacher played piano very beautifully for this song. A lovely song heard after so many years.

This song is new to me but when I was growing up, our family would stand around the piano and have hymn sings sometimes while my mom played. She sang alto and my dad sang tenor or bass and my siblings would “join right in there” as the song goes. So nice to see that other people have precious memories like these.

Faith in Jesus makes these singers sooo beautiful. I know Jesus has followers in every country on Earth but I am not familiar to see brothers and sisters in Christ from India singing Christian hymn , I live in England where is a huge comunity of Indians and what I know is they are Hyndu and Sikh and other religion but i cant remember right now and many of them are IT workers and doctors . I really like that I also see another side of this nation that they also have Christians. May God bless you

Hey Brenda, you should feel proud of these singers. Your forefathers - English missionaries toiled hard in India under harsh weather and inclement conditions and brought faith and english to these parts of India. These singers are the spiritual children and legacy of your forefathers. you should hold your head high and be proud as an English woman for the great missionary work of your forefathers.

I am not english I do have have my name after my husband and I am called Brenda since I was 14 years old. But thank you for your nice comment . Brenda, you have much to learn. Indian Christians are all over in India and around the world. Christianity came to India from England and Scotland through their missionaries and also later through the American Missionaries who ran schools, colleges and hospitals of great repute. There was of course the Catholic missionaries as well, who ran many schools all over. We have many Protestant denominations in India. Some families adopted Biblical last names, while others kept their Indian names. So you can't tell by our names but there are many Christians of Indian origin. Thank you for your interest.

I played this song over and over and over and over and over again! I'm not a person that generally likes hymns but this morning, I found myself singing the song He Arose. So I googled and chose yours to listen. Such beautiful, harmonised voices! I listened other hymns by you but when I got to this one, I just kept hitting repeat...Thank you Voice of Eden for being such a blessing! I love the transition into the second verse. Where the vocals drop from a choir to a single singer and the piano slows down to put more emphasis on the violin. It really gives the sense that the singer is ashamed of herself for focusing more on the storm than the master who commands it. And then, the chorus kicks in...
