i need to show this to my light

learning that you can use half the cooldown timer as a benchmark for the portal duration and that the portal only deactivates when *you* move 70 meters from the first point, not the second portal, were probably the two biggest uncertainties holding me back from using this to it's fullest potential. Not to mention infinite duration until you place the second gateway. Definitely going to try some of these strats in my gameplay.

You can place a portal above the cashout. When its getting stolen place the second on under one of the Cubes that hang around the map that drop explosives. Pop the Cube und rain explosives or gas at the enemy

This type of item was exactly what the light class needed for better team play. Any option that incentivizes team play is great (dyfib/heal beam), but the gateway manages to stick to the light class's theme and gives higher level players the option of supporting their team. Piggy's use of this is really cool, and worth taking inspiration from. Me personally, I'm not skilled enough to frag out as light, but I know very well that getting high kills means nothing without helping the team with objectives.

in scrims the tempo advantage will be a big factor that makes me hope light can become meta in comp , cant wait for private matches to be updated so we can scrim

If u throw on part of the teleporter in the air you got a oneway tp, very useful for bait or not giving enemys escape route

Season 2 is Lights season tbh. Heavies are not so strong anymore so its way easier to survive

i wonder if, even at high levels of play, it is possible to place gateway a above the void, then engage in a fight and PRETEND like you're placing down gateway b and taking it to escape, leading to an opponent taking it to chase after you but they just fall off the map and die...

But what if it's placed on a ledge. Most people just run straight forward when exiting and then they would fall off.

@@piggyxdd ah that's unfortunate. Barely tried messing around with it myself so far, only been using it to get to high up places quickly/to cashout quickly. I'll definitely try the chimney thing though, that looks hilarious.

@@piggyxdd You'll have to place the first gateway in a corner so you psychologically steer the enemies in the correct direction. 😉

Before, when I didn't know that the safe could also be teleported (I thought only players could do it). I teleported to him, he teleported too, to my previous place. I got wounded by three purple players, teleported back to the portal, some orange guy took the safe, I killed him and ran to cashout. and all this in the second round of the ranking tournament

Fyi a Goo gun can encase the portals in goo. If you teleport into the goo you get stuck and have to break the goo to get out. Unfortunatelt have not run into enough Gateway lights to abuse it yet

hey piggy, did you know you can teleport up a layer while being below your enemy?

I am pretty sure bullets do go throug the gate or am i tripping, i testet it in practise mode

🗡️Make dagger secondary attack have 60damage cause people miss mostly and get melted my smg and assault guns all the time. 🗡️Remove dagger auto aim as it prevents backstabs hitbox,sword has more range,auto aim,no accuracy but consistently high damage. 🗡️As sword already has a fast lunge high damage with a mini dash with evasive dash combo it's op,but dagger has awkwardly slow backstab. Plz add: 🗡️A fast downwards thrust lunge attack when falling using dagger that does 100damags and a slide lunge similar to sword but for dagger 🗡️Use secondary attack on vertical structure for climbing and wall jump(higher jump from walls) to fall to do the downwards thrust. Remember that sword can lunge dash combo 360° but dagger can't do much in terms of movement.

🔥Rework abilities 🔥 Have grapple hook have a primary use which can hook and swing and use momentum to go places and up high structures manually slightly faster then ziplines,it has 2 uses. Have a secondary use that's already in the game by default which is to quickly pull u but u should be able to cancel it to use the speed instead of having it pull u in a corner and stuck. No one uses grapple hook so make it better. Have better thermal vision filter cause it looks ugly and have it see mines and turrets through walls cause they shread light players. Have a healing dart gun for light players that gives teammates heath 50 instantly and jump starts the healing process quicker. Have a poison dart gun varient that does little poison damage but lower bullet velocity and less tracking time. Rework cloak into chameleon ability where invis goes away after 6 seconds on ground (can use vanish bomb combo for longer on ground) but stays longer when u r stuck on walls or cellings and u can use gravity to walk on any structure,u can creep fast but when u r upright and have to shoot u r easier to spot,it's great on large maps where u can do secondary throwing knife attack from the celling or fall down from there and use dagger or sword. U can even go around buildings to escape. Cloak,it was made when players were tanky and had a lot of health but now it is annoying as time to kill is faster they just vanish at will and shoots out of nowhere,we don't have recon senses and thermal gadget is ugly.

2:00 Such a creative way of using the gateway as a trap. But wouldn't the enemy heavy in this clip teleport out just as easily as he teleported in?

Weird. Enjoy that trick while it lasts. Can't imagine Embark wants that interaction in the game for long. Especially since there are heavy loadout combinations which don't have any form of destruction to escape.

2:45 Is it possible to place point B right next to the cashout and so the vault instantly deposit by it self? Although it would have trouble knowing which team to grant ownership of the cash.

Is the cashout then owned by the player who opened the vault or the one who created the gateway?

You need to drop a new updated light guide. Also I hard main light (I'm still bad) and every time I use the cloak I get seen instantly any tips?

Try to play range, its almost impossible to be seen cloaked when you are far away from people.

I play mostly heavy, lights die if they come too close. I can hardly hit them when they're at range tho. Maybe that's cuz I use melee, flame, or slug shotty. Don't go near heavy that has charge and slam! They WILL crush you.

Can a cashout go thru a portal? Imagine your teammate demats the floor below the cashout. It falls thru floor, close floor, cashout falls into the gateway into your new desired location Where you teammate is waiting to take the cashout.
