Master the Acid sound: Programming a real Roland TB-303 with Robert Babicz aka Rob Acid

Музыка

Let's dive deep into the intricacies of programming a real 30 year old Roland TB-303 - the iconic mono synth synonymous with the "Acid" sound. Robert Babicz has long been a mainstay of the techno and house scene and, under the moniker "Rob Acid", has had a major influence on the development of the acid sound since the 90s. Of course, everything Robert shows you can be replicated with more than just 303 originals but clones and emulations - both hardware and software.
If you are interested in learning more techniques in sound design from Robert Babicz, you might find the new masterclass very useful that Robert just released with SINEE in English language!

The person dancing in the club won’t know if it’s a roland or if it’s a behringer or any of the others. Those are the people that matter, not some gatekeeper Andy on Reddit 😂

It's amazing that the buttons still work after such a long time and intensive use...that on a "low-cost" machine....

"every machine is a little different" and I went through the extra effort of opening up my TD3 and adjusting the filter center position so it has a darker sound than it does stock out of the box
