Master's in Computer Science for non-CS students | Universities in the USA

#ComputerScience #CSforNonCSstudents #StudyAbroad
Computer Science is rapidly becoming a popular field of choice for many students. If you don't have an undergraduate background in CS who want to pursue it for their Master's, it's difficult because most universities require a bachelor's in CS. In this video, we have a list of different universities in the US that non-CS students can apply to for CS programs in their post graduation. Let us know if this helped!
List of programs:
1. MCIT @ University of Pennsylvania
For non-CS students
gradadm.seas.upenn.edu/master...
2. NYU Tandon Bridge course then MS in CS
MS in CS is open but prefer students with CS background. If you don't have it, take the 6-month bridge program from NYU for $1850 to get prepared. Also makes you eligible for other few other decent universities.

engineering.nyu.edu/academics...
3. Boston University
Accept students with a somewhat CS background. If you took ECE or a program with a few CS courses, you should be eligible.
www.bu.edu/cs/masters/admissi...
4. Georgia Tech
Same deal. Gotta have a somewhat CS background.
www.cc.gatech.edu/ms-computer...
5. University of Chicago
Accepts students from all backgrounds.

Hey Sachin, do add this to the list. There is the MSIS Bridge program at Northeastern which is meant for non CS people along with their MSCS Align. The catch being, the Align in of 3 years and requires you to complete a bunch of prereq courses whereas the Bridge just needs you to complete 2 prereq courses and is a regular 2 years MS.

Great video man. Kudos to you. Please make one on the courses one can pursue that will lead to an admit in ms in cs, like you mentioned on your blog that, Try to cover the significant parts of the curriculum and be introduced to the field theoretically and practically, but how do we do this exactly, what courses should I take and from which universities or MOOCs. What specific courses would you recommend or someone you know has taken to achieve this goal? Please mention some examples and refer some people so we can talk to them directly or attend a webinar where you are interviewing them. This video rekindled my hope and I want to turn this idea into a reality. Thanks and regards!
