@@denislemieux7294 It is loud but your ears are really not going to explode. You can use an external amplifier to increase the max. volume by 10%. Besides this the sound quality is going to blow your brain and ears. Give them a try!

Interesting I never heard of that problem before. Plus my current headphones is the Sennheiser momentum 3 which I only use to edit my videos or listen to music every blue moon

The last time you had a quad major with the nuraphones I pressed the trigger and been happy every since. I may need to buy these.

Thank you for the review FC!! I have a pair of wired M&D... Love them. The sound is awesome. They are on the heavier side but solid build quality. I bought the M&D75 today and I'm returning them. First the sound is still awesome and the ANC was super quiet. The issue, the mic doesn't work well. My calls were low quality, barely audible and static'y. The other issue, the headphones are not tight on the head. If I lean forward or backwards the headphones slide off my head. I had high hopes for these.

Xm5z vs these and both are valid they both have good noise canceling I'd say the MxD have better bass tho cs it feels tight and punchy the xm5s bass are great and the case are similar js the sony xm5z case is slimmer and they are plastic build the MxD are metal and stuff but I js feel that sony is comfy and better and they have vegan leather the MxD have lamb so if ur vegan don't go for the MxD sonys are honestly better tbh tho

Well, thanks to this review I'm down 6 bills! I'm happy with my decision though... Running on a Samsung Tab S7 and a S22 ultra with aptx codecs so I may not be using these cans to their max potential right now but I think the audio quality is a huge upgrade from my Sony XM4's running with LDAC!

Hey Floss! Aside from the fact, that I've been a subscriber for the tech revives that I just love I am here for the entertainment for which I wanna thank you from my heart. Now You've convinced me to get one thing before that is the Huawei Mate 10 Pro RS Edition (which actually still is operational and well) and my recent purchase was M&D MW75 (Gun Metal). I as much as you do go with the "Build quality" - that something I've been attached to since I can remember. Ma tells me I've got this from ma Dad who was a bad a.ss back in the days. Anyway, the M&D MW75 are peace of art. We all know well (at least the tech community) that sound is subjective and a review has to be taken with grain of salt. This review illustrate the shape and form of these headphones perfectly. My "Off head detection" which you had problem with works well so your marketing sample model was a expectation. What I wanted to mention is, that there is one huge advantage that these headphone have (some other also share it) which is the ability to operate in pure analog mode which is rare and should be a criteria to consider when spending more then 100$. Now I managed to buy these off tax free but I still ended up paying 400$ and I would never trade them for anything else. The feeling when you walk next to a dude wearin' XM5's like he owns the world and you cross him with these on your head - that face expression is worth every dime and the feeling you have great sound combined with some top notch materials gives better serotonin boost then a while line. So taking the opportunity I wanted to say how much I appreciate your work and sense of humor. May God bless you and your family.

So just got my 4s after extensively testing the 75s and momentum 4 is so much better in a lot of areas that the 75 doesn't deserve the price tag. Now if the 75s were 400 dollars then they'd be much more worth it

Floss one thing I'd like to see in your reviews is how over the ear headphones feel after a long session and neck/head strain. SO many of the heavier "premium" over the ear headphones leave me with neck pain due to the weight.

Airpod Max look cheap in front of M&D headphone. PREMIUM headphone at next level.

Floss you should give the MW65 a whirl too. They're a more compact, retro design but sound incredible too.

I’ve been exposed to real good sound quality and you’d be amazed at what switching to a cable will do for sound. Spend 60 bucks on some Philips shp9500 for home use. Trust me. If you love them, make a video out of it if you want but this is more for you. You gotta experience real high fidelity sound. I love Bluetooth though don’t get me wrong. Better than the B&O H95s on price. I wonder if this is better than them on sound quality.

I absolutely love my MW75. However, after 2 months of use, the leather on the headband (which rests on the head) has come off at the top. I did a foolish thing by trying to glue it back with super glue and it worked well on one side but on the other side, not so much. It does show are the band is damaged. Does anyone know if there are repair shops that can fix headbands?

Flossy, i have a suggestion for you. Did you tried the H95 from B&O? I bought them yesterday… oh my god !!! They cost me 1200$ with taxes here in Canada. But men the sound !!!!! Yeah my wife take me for a fool, but NOW i know what is real good sound 😄 did they worth 1200$? NO, not at all ! But just for the sound they are incredible. I think i like the technics eah-a800 more than the H95 just because of the price.

@@TheJatinderAU yes, they have like more bass, not necessarily punchy sound although its so faint. The bass is like controlled. The sound is like metalic like, the guitars sounds awesome, I heard more details in these than all other wireless headphones combined. The sound is tiny, which means that the sound isn't powerful which makes the sound reveal more tonality as that is pro and con for those who love powerful sound like the XM5's, Momentum 4... When i first tried them on the volume was average, burn in or not like a year later of using them every week, they got brighter? These are my second headphone i also have the Momentum. But i use the h95 for home use and travel too and they sound fantastic although not everyone like the taste of how they sound. I had two headphones because i got bored of the H95's i used them like everyday to Momentum's. Hearing them with Jack harlow First Class song on KZread you will hear that metalic sound which makes the treble flow deep end musicality, although there is some bass but not powerful bass. I love Bass too but they sound good and unique. What can I say about the vocals? They sound exactly like humans. These aren't perfect because i brought them used on eBay and ANC is bad, expecially voice calls. I'm only using them for listening to music and movies which has that Dolby like sound, which isn't exactly Dolby. Here my most harsh criticism of them is the comfort, they don't warm up hears that much thanks to real leather and damn aren't they sooo durable went through all these stresses. The are uncomfortable and i wished the earcups were larger, because they don't necessarily deep cushion you. They feel tight unlike the Sennheiser and that can affect the sound for you. I don't consider this comfortable at all.

@@TheJatinderAU to be honest cheaper headphones are better the new Momentums are coming, the H95 was made because of the anniversary of B&O. The H100 hopefully can be more comfortable because this are too compact for my ears and yes they hurt. Also the h95 can be fatiguing over time. So I'm need a warmer sound like the new Sennheiser momentum 4, i had to give the 3's to my sister since she needed a pair

Besides I never spent so much money on mere headphones. They are not comfortable for me either. Ear cups seem to be shallow therefore feels like my ears are being pressed against. But sound quality is unmatched to anything I have listened to so far. I have Sony Xm4. I liked them at the start but they started sounding muddy. They have good amount of base but it feels forced and seems artificial to me. To be honest I cannot listen to Sonys after listening to these. I wish ear cups were larger and deeper then these headphones were gonna be perfect for me. I am really enjoying the music and watching movies through these, Thanks for the comment mate. Very appreciated

Guys ! Question for you and Flossy: many people tell le to try IEMs because they have better sound than earbuds and headphone over the ear. I have never listen to IEM just because of the stupid cable that are on your ear. Can someone tell me what’s the deal with the IEMs and are they better than earbuds and headphones? I really like bass and very clear sound with very wide soundstage. So hope someone will help me with my research. Oh sorry for bad english i speak french guys :)

I started to love them and yep sounds better, reveals more details in the music could be that metalic like soundings, the guitars sounded wonderful. Could be burn in or not (my head), although I'm looking for a second headphone, warm sound and i loved the Sennheiser but lacked that tonality that the h95's has but i still loved it sounded fuller, powerful. The MW65 sounded average, smooth which wasn't my taste. I'm still wondering how improved these are

Sounds so good similar to the- Mark Levinson No. 5909

More important is weight and fit. My Sony mx3. All plastic yet still great build quality and going strong after almost 4 years

The cushioning on the ear cups is a little stiff, and the ear openings are too small for normal size ears. They sound incredible though

they are really nice looking headphones.
