These are some of the reasons why this scene is deleted. 1) Vijay's character is portrayed as an Alcoholic professor in the beginning. If this scene is kept in the movie, the viewers can't accept the fact that he is an alcoholic professor. 2) They also say to reduce the length of movie. 3) They also say, the girl here (Savitha) is found smiling in many places in this scene.

Not that . Mainly the movie got U/A rating from censorship board. The scene would have been in the film if it got an A rating... the director wanted U/A rating so family can watch the film aswell.

Mr.Martin Jerome, let me tell you - you won't see this kind of an intro(not the deleted one) which clearly depicts what kind of a character he is playing , in the near future. And secondly this scene is far good and the censor board didn't allow it. Remember the director's interview where he says about the ostrich story-only the creator knows the pain). So censor board removed it and stop blaming the film crew for this. They want the best scenes to come out. And about the bull shit intro.. did you expect the hero to fly in his car and smile?

@@juneseed5374 If u can release scenes which are unallowed by censor board as deleted clips in KZread channels and social media handles, then why do u need a censor board😂. Master holds a UA censor certification which means unrestricted public exhibition, if this scn was taken down by censor board the makers or the ott platform which holds the digital rights don't have the right to make it available for public & abt the intro I'm not xpecting him to fly in his car or jumb out of a train/flight but that intro was not upto the mark compared to his previous flicks.
