Now I understand why my neckband was too small. I measured at the edge. Thank you!! I just made a muslin for a knit top that I drafted from a RTW top. I added a neckband but didn't like the look. I just ended up turning the whole thing to the inside and top stitched it down. I think doing the double fold binding will give me the look I want. Perfect timing for this Master Class! I'm saving this video to my library for future reference. I'm certain I will be watching it often as I am just getting started with knits. Thank you for your thorough explanations and examples with actual garments. Karina, no one else puts out such excellent content. You really teach us rather than just show. I can't tell you how much my sewing has improved with your guidance. ❤️

And a master class it was, simply amazing Karina. I absolutely adore your videos, your clear and precise instruction, and all the different options you provide for us poor beginner + medium + advanced sewists. You have something for all of us and I always learn something new and then incorporate it into my next sewing pattern. I saved this video and many others from your classes and will get back to them again and again. You make sewing simple but fun, and I just love how precise you are and going the extra mile to hand bast your necklines and armholes. My Mama taught me the same way and I still implement it today.
