This has actually been voted the World's Best Water Ride by Amusement Today multiple times for over a decade until 2010 when the Wildebeest at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, IN opened in 2010. I haven't been to this park yet but I already know that you should always make this your first ride of the day because of how popular it is with people. You should also make the Wolfpack your second ride afterwards because for some reason the family raft slides also draw huge crowds.

Yeah it's a tough decision. I find Wildebeest to be faster and a little more airtime while also finding Mammoth to be exciting in the sense that you ride with more people and the circular rafts can spin around while going up and down the hill.

I have been on this slide and it is about a three hour wait, (we got there early so it was only about 1:30m) but it was totally worth it!

This ride is so fun! The pacing is great so you won’t feel bored at any time of the ride

I rode this today and I have got to say it was awesome

Don’t know when I’ll be able to ride this again. I live in Texas so I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to ride it quite a bit but I don’t live in New Braunfels so not as often as I would like lol Every time I’ve gone this has been my favorite ride. I remember last time I think I rode it at least 10 times in a row. I remembered the quickest route back to the line and headed there as soon as I I exited the pool 😂 It’s so much fun, watching this brings back so many memories.

Finally I have faced the master blaster (yesterday) TWICE!!!

Does this ride trigger ur stomach

I went on this ride just today, I was with my 13 yo cousin. We were both screaming me more with joy him more with fear, and more high pitched. When we went into the dark parts he was screaming ”I CAN’T SEE SHIT” over and over again

I remember my brothers and I getting up super early to be first in line for this bad boy

Ich fand die als eine der ersten Master Blaster-Rutschen gar nicht so verkehrt, wobei die Wartezeit natürlich vollkommen übertrieben ist. Wir standen glaube ich fast ne Stunde in der Sonne. :D

Bei uns waren es 65 Minuten. Kann man sich in unseren Augen sparen ;) Dragon's Revenge ist deutlich besser!

Honestly Dragons Revenge is a better slide. Idk how this won best water slide so many times

CoasterCraziness yeah I agree dragons revenge is so unique and while this ride is fun there are many slides like it, like aqua coaster at volcano bay

I guess that award was conducted before 2008, when the theming on Dragon's Revenge was added.

Verruckt was badly designed, this is safer and has been at multiple parks before

Was there a lot of people getting stuck on it when you went? I went to the Schlitterbahn in Galveston and every other person got stuck on it because they couldn't make it up the hill.

Boycot Schlitterbahn in general. They fail to meet the safety standards met stated by county. In one of their parks in Kansas a little boy died because the Henry Family got a bit to greedy about the attention they get by those weird adult-kids that make waterslide video’s . Basically they went on with building the slide while it was clear it wasn’t safe at all. I doubt any of the other attractions they offer at other parks meet safety standards aswell. I’ve read reports all over the internet that indicate this park isn’t safe. No park named Schlitterbahn is safe at all and if nothing happened you where either lucky, either the weight was distributed perfectly, or you either went only swimming in a pool.

Dostrazzz that wasn’t this park in particular. That was the one in Kansas or wherever it was. Not the Texas parks. While I agree that they shouldn’t have opened that ride, it’s not the master blaster.
