I am fairly consistent timing one-turn moves, but the biggest issue with them at the moment is the game lagging or skipping frames. One-turn moves are heavily punished if you attempt to time your move properly and end up losing a turn at the wrong moment.
The only Pokémon Go PvP guide explained perfectly. I hope you win Worlds
Ty Watched a number of vids on timing from other creators & I get the principle, however, could not get the practical. Tackling each move count individually is a great idea. I got it for 1 turn. Looking forward to the rest. I might actually get past Veteran at last.
This is a very understanding video. Thank you for taking your time to make this, it will make things alot easier for me and others watching. I am looking forward to your videos covering orher fast move timing. Thanks itsAXN!
Another advice I have that helped me a lot once I got the theory down is: listen to the sound of you dragon breaths, licks, water guns, bites and whatnot 1-turn moves. It can help A LOT to get a feeling for how long a turn actually is and to throw at the correct timing.
Loving your videos, they are so clear and easy to understand 😊
Great video, really useful. Was good to see examples of the opposing Pokémon move types too 🥇 Now subscribed
Hey man, happy to see you here. I’ve been searching for you on YT for a while
Also if your device is garbage so if you try to like throw on proper timing due to lags etc it either ends up on cmp or you give your opp free fast move like dnair throwing charge move on 3rd db against magnezone and if lag occurs it might end up on cmp or free fast move for the opp Like this was my experience sometimes eg Dnair into hex jellicent If i try to throw cm after 2nd db due to lag it ends up on cmp tie or the opp gets free hex Still I'll reccomend to throw on good timing anyway!
Would love to see the other move broken down just like this. This is the easiest I’ve been able to understand the concept
Thank you so very, very much for the video‼︎ My eye-opening experience. I could understand very well. What I had been thinking of with my senses has become clear. Thank you for your good will.😊
Fantastic guide, thank you for this. The last 3 seasons I’ve hit expert with one season being 44 points off of legend, one day hopefully. I’m excited to see more guides from you! Good luck with your upcoming tourneys.

The theory is good. But the pokemon go server itself are full of bug. Lag everywhere 😢
watching this made me realise that probably for the first time ever have i been using a team with no 2 turn users, dirge umbreon ferro. dont think ive ever ran wiht less than 2 2 turn or 1 turn moves before long term.
The only Guide I listen too
Very well explained, very understandable, very informative. Thank you for your information.
Btw 1:33 some spice lords run porygon2&z with lockon same for other regis except regidraco and gigas Also snorlax uses lick too But i see what you mean by notable users These mentioned up are some anti meta or spice mon
Excited for this series. Move timing is something I definitely need to work on.
How interesting! Thanks
One important aspect that I feel doesn't get brought up much is the specific importance of timing against 1 turn moves against specific Pokemon. If you're using a Lickitung against, say, a Talonflame, and you mistime your first Body Slam by even ONE Lick, Talonflame will have the opportunity to win Charge Attack Priority (CAP/CMP) ties on the second charge attack, which can provide a major advantage, either by defeating the Lickitung or forcing a shield advantage
Alright, you won me over instantly. Subbed
I just want to point out that you are never giving away two turns for free against two turn fast moves, you give away maximum one turn. Since you are using one turn to throw your move, of those two turns in a Counter for example. Great content, thank you!
Gracias por el tutorial señor campeón mundial
Average player here. What casual player keeps track of this stuff? This counting is for the birds. GBL needs to switch to a cool down timer system for charged attacks (similar to the sitch clock set up). That and limit the number of times you can use charged attacks per battle.
Tysm for taking the time to do this kind of videos!! However I don’t know if there is a way to slow motion the examples…? It’s so fast 😢 That would be awesome to get the time to see it more slowly.

What part of the screen do you actually look at when you're counting your moves? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I have a hard time keeping up with the animations

So when I'm timing my moves I look at my pokemon's animation. Every time the fast attack animation starts, that's when I add 1.
So I recently have lost 2 battles with chargabug where I was one volt switch away from a discharge and my opponent was one incinerate away from KOing me. We both threw the move at the same time and instead of getting to the discharge and being able to use it I am killed by the incinerate. Am I missing something here I thought volt switch went through faster than incinerate and I would be able to get off a move before dying?
I am looking at the opponents pokemon animation to time on my 1 turn move mons. Takes a bit of practise but it becomes muscle memory after a while.

i found myself doing the same
What should I count? My taps, the movement of my Pokémon or of the opponent? Will faster tapping generate more energy? Does a turn equal a tap?
@ItsAXN

For move timing, you count your own moves, basically every time the fast move animation starts add 1. 1 turn is half a second, so 1 turn moves will last half a second, 2 turn moves last 1 second, 5 turn moves last 2.5 seconds etc. Faster tapping doesn't do anything, the only thing that affects how quickly energy generates is the raw stats of the moves themselves.
Ngl one turn move feels slower to charge if you can't tap fast, the most ideal fast move is the 2 turns one, not too fast, not too slow..
How do you count opponent one turn fast move? Do you count every single opponent fast move or count your pokemon fast moves?

I do count each move individually, it takes some practice but I find it's the best way to keep an accurate count. I'll definitely be making a counting guide in the future!
In his example against Skeledirge…..am I throwing on 9 and 14? Or one turn after
@ItsAXN

Yep! 4,9,14,19,24. One turn before the 5 turn move will end!

@@ItsAXN thank you so much! Love watching your content and people showcasing your skill! I made Vet this season and you definitely helped me get there!
First!
Great video, but I see that you do sometimes say to throw AFTER instead of saying to throw ON. Every KZreadr approaching this topic make this mistake. “Throw after the fourth” and then you see in the video that they throw ON the fourth attack
@ItsAXN

I get what you're saying, but you have to wait for your 7th fast attack to end, which is why we say throw after 7
