My heart goes out to anyone who deals with chronic pain. You are in my prayers. I'm also sorry that this is the era of withholding opioid meds from people who need them, just on general principles. I hope your doctors will open their eyes, accept your condition to be as you say it is, and actually treat you with the big guns of pain relief. God bless you.

Dogs instinctively know when you are moving! We move around every six months for my husbands work. Our poodle 'Mozart' has a suitcase (a really old one we found at a lawn sale with hard sides). He would watch us intently as every box expertly was packed and went in a pile for the movers. The last suitcase packed was his, and he would go right over and sit on top of it; making sure he was going too! Harlow just wants to make sure that if his toys are leaving, he's going too!

I know the whole house thing didn't turn out the way you would have liked it to, but Thank God Judd is SO WONDERFUL & taking care of the physical aspect of this move. You all DO make an awesome team, as you've been lining up when things are turned on/off, etc. That's a HUGE help, so that Judd can focus on getting things done. Together you all are getting it done & it's SO AWESOME they were able to bring all of the paperwork to the hospital to get closing done! That's SO AMAZING!!! SO GLAD everything didn't have to be stopped until you get out of the hospital...that would have REALLY sucked!! You all are SO AMAZING how you are able to go with the flow, & things turn out SO WELL, though you have to adjust to your chronic medical issues. You both handle it SO WELL!!!! So happy for you! Congrats! What HUGE blessing that you no longer have to deal with those stairs!! Hurray!!!!!!

The positives... If the pain pump works, moving forward you now know what will work. You have a great support system to help. Even though it is stressful not being out of the hospital, the moving part can be so overwhelming. Finally, the caption above Harlow's head should be "We got this mom". Get better soon.🏠

Menses always caused flares in me, sucks big time. Hugs sweetie and it is so rough. I struggle with c-diff another really rough bug to treat and control. I also get skin infections from Staph over growing on my skin microbiome. I always flare when moving too. The stress sets stuff off. Praying you start to heal and recover soon. Gentle hugs to you, Harlow and Judd.

congrats on becoming a home owner! we closed on ours in November and it was a lot of work getting moved in. I honestly think you being removed from the situation is a partial blessing, although I wish it was under different circumstances. Lowes delivered our appliances too and I swear we had a hiccup at every turn (they brought the wrong attachments for the water/ice cube dispensers and had to make return visits and even delayed shipping). there were a lot of little things we missed like we completely forgot we'd have no curtains installed and had to amazon prime them overnight lol! we also had no mailbox (it was a renovation) and had to install one ASAP. between my health and all the house stuff its been a journey but it everything will fall into place. God has a plan

I’m SO hoping the pain pump will snip that SO vicious cycle!! The new house is so exciting, & we know u want to be there ASAP, helping with absolutely everything, & having as much of a part in things as you can-but u want to be as sorted as possible, so you don’t end up rebounding back in hospital in the midst of everything happening with the house/move!-take the time to take care of your health-and be patient with what has to happen for your health, during such a stressful time and huge life upheaval! It looks as if you have some amazing people around y’all/fam, that will make sure you+Judd have the best support and help around! Hang in there, I’m sure Judd, Fam and Hippo have it all sorted...It sure seems that way!! We are cheering for you all-and know, #UGotThis!! #Godspeed-it will happen according to his will.❤️

I'm a control freak too. When we moved into our house my husbands baseball team moved everything. They sent me away for the day so I wouldn't have any panic attacks. It was great. At the end of the day I went to the house and everything was in it's place and perfect. Just keep reminding yourself everything will be ok.

I am so sorry you are continuing to experience so much pain. I know you are beyond disappointed to not experience the move into your new home. It is the unfortunate reality of chronic pain sufferers that our bodies NO NOT cooperate. Missing out on this is so incredibly frustrating. Your first priority is for your health to be stable. The rest of life can continue once that had happened. It totally stinks... I get it. Soon you will be home. Judd is a great guy and you have family and friends to help. You will have to accept their help for now. I know you have strong faith. You will get beyond this and one day it will be a distant memory. God Bless you and your family. Sending gentle hugs 💗

It’s so great that you can handle new construction and new things. My husband deals with multiple chemical sensitivity and new doesn’t work with that at all. I use a PCA pump when i am inpatient and its the only way to control my pain enough to get me to where I can go home! But it is good to remember to get back to your normal meds for a day or two, to make sure you're not going to feel bad after having the steady level of pain medication taken away, before you go home. What i do is just when im starting to feel better I space it out a few minutes more and a few minutes more if I can. That really helps me not feel horrible and in pain and nauseated etc. when I am discharged and home. But i am so glad they finally gave you that cause I felt so bad with you just being in so much pain. Im gonna visit my aunt in Tampa soon I hope and that would be so great I hope you are doing better today and that spirits are up! (: xo

Do you suppose the stress of everything is also causing the increasing severity of reactions? I know that stress or strong negative emotions will send me into a flare, emotional stress especially. I know it may sound horribly silly, but there are a lot of KZread mediation walk throughs. The only reason I would suggest it is because they helped me through some of my ketamine treatments when the world went wonky. They kept me calm & breathing which would help me more effectively. Just pop it into your earphones. Or, for you, perhaps a sermon about good health & destressors? However, you’re absolutely correct when you say that Judd & you make a great team. It’s obvious just from watching you’re vids. It’s also obvious that you two make it through whatever obstacles are thrown at you every time. You compliment each other very well & pick the other up when they’re down. I know the gut eating guilt that comes along with wanting to help your loved ones so much & unable to because you’re body is being an arsehole. It doesn’t matter how much they reassure you that it’s okay, it’s still in the back of your mind. But I promise you, they got you. You have a lot of loved ones, friends, & followers who will always be there to lift you up. If you don’t mind my asking, what medication are they using in the pain pump? I’m curious because morphine isn’t effective for me; it doesn’t work. My parent’s & I all have adverse reactions to it. Also, I’ve been on fentenyl patches for the past 5yrs so that IV Fentenyl is also ineffective. Ketamine works, but it’s always been a med that wears off quickly. I have a good feeling that the pump will work & help stop the cycle so that you can enjoy you’re new home. I know that stagnant cycle where just the symptoms are treated and you can’t break the cycle for whatever reason. Generally with autoimmune they can’t do anything because they don’t know what causes some of the diseases so they can’t treat the source of the problem. Too bad you can’t get Xolair at the hospital. Grr. Hopefully you’re signing papers as I’m writing this!! Sending love & healing vibes your way from the east coast on warm sunshine, darlin’. 💜

I've just realised how much Judd looks like my surgeon's assistant. When I met him 2 weeks ago he seemed familiar but I couldn't place it at all, but now I know!

Our closing was a mess too. It took forever. And that was after 6 months of looking for the right place. We finally got the keys, went to the house and the keys did not work. The house was bank owned foreclosure and the keys the bank had were not the right ones. The best guess was the previous homeowner changed the lock as they left out of spite. We basically had to get a lock smith to come break into our new home and install a new door lock before we could get into the house we just officially bought. Lol.

I had literally the same button but on a completely different pump last week. The previous time I had a PCA the button was horrendous, difficult to hold, no light, just not good. Same precautions with two nurses required to change the supply in the pump, but interestingly I was told the nurse was allowed to press the button, also as this was post surgery they were allowed to override the pump a certain amount of times.

I had a PCA pump years ago and there were only 2 doses of it but I was afraid to use it. It looks like they made improvements in the button control. Harlow looked like she wAs sad to leave you. I hope you get better so you can go to your new home.

I'm so sorry you're still in the hospital. When I was hospitalized for cellulitis last year, they gave me IV vancomycin before I knew it was the absolute worst for MCAS. So I had terrible flares. And no one knew what to do for me. Like you, they were just treating the symptoms, and it was a vicious cycle. It took several weeks after I went home to get back to my baseline. MCAS is a bitch.

His timing is not our timing. You are such an awesome example of giving it to God and trusting Him. My prayers are with you and hope the PCA does the trick! Thank you for sharing your journey. Congratulations on your new home!!!
