I agree that the dog may need a maintenance cut, but before cutting the dogs hair, a best practice would be to call the owner first. I have a long-haired daschound that a groomer shaved, and I was not pleased! We brush the dog all the time, and now she has a horrible coat to maintain as it did not grow back well. I know how difficult grooming is, but you may lose a customer and get horrible reviews that could be avoided. Just my opinion, I do believe you are doing what is best for the dog. Communication is key to good business.

Was watching your video. Wow. Lots of undercoat. When it was mentioned Rose needs a net, it reminds me that on the channel Girl with Dogs, she uses a bee keepers hat and net when blowing and brushing her dogs. Looks like Bentley is thoroughly enjoying his Spa Treatment/grooming. Good boy.

Wow do you think being a sheepdog is what all that hair they had and trying to get it to look right and I know what your guys are talking about I agree with you guys 100% everything is all about the dog make sure they look nice they look okay but like Rose said she was frustrated cuz the dog had way too much hair for that and for the dog trying to make looks sure that he or she looked okay

I am new (kinda) I get confused with time lines. I thought it was a mobile van? but this looks like a stable venue?

I’m confused as to why you are shaving him ? You really don’t shave double coated dogs. As for doing it without owners consent 😮 just no. Cutting the guard hairs will only cause further issues with his undercoat surely you guys know this ? This is not helpful to the dog at all. This with interfere with his ability to stay cool /warm/dry
