I love it when huge dogs think they're little lol. My friends had this gigantic rottweiler who used to go around the room sitting on everyone's lap. He just kept going around and around and around until we were all just covered in dog hair and slobber lol. He was so affectionate🤣

Actually, a large timber wolf is a little bigger, 🐺 . But not nearly as heavy. A large Newfie is about 250 lb. A large wolf is 110 and I guarantee he will not eat half as much as that Newfie does.

My pal had a 14 stone dog. He was the same. I felt sorry for him as the little dogs (mine) would get cuddles & belly rubs but he didnt purely on his size. Same in the park,my dogs would play with other dogs but no one would play with him.

That is so cute, my Dad got us a Newfoundland. His original owner got sick and was no longer able to keep him so the whole family came to our house to make sure he would be happy with us. He pulled up in a very expensive car with his owner her husband and Mother, they brought his blanket with him along with his toys and bowls, he weighted about 250 pounds lol I fell in love with him and he was the biggest baby I had ever seen. My Dad decided to also get me a kitten so George decided to the kitten was his to protect so the tiny kitten slept in his fur as he cuddled with his blanket, so the kitten grew up with him, I miss him because he cuddled on the couch with me while I watched Tv and would lay his head in my lap or at times would put half of his body over me lol Needless to say I was never cold :) But the funniest thing was if I did not want to get up my Dad would open my bedroom door and George to get me, so you could hear him bounding across the floor only to have him fly up on my bed and either squish me or stand over me drooling lmao So yea I got up quick, he was the best dog and if you wanted a wild ride I would put my Roller skates on and he would drag me down the street lol

Our Newfie of 8 years insisted on sleeping between us on our king-size bed.

A friend of mine was owned by one of these big boys over 30 years ago. His name was Mickey, he too thought he was a lap dog. Sweetest dog ever. We all cried when he passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I remember his deep bark too, but it was all bluff.

I've always liked Newfies, but now that my aunt owns one, to know one is to actually want one. I adore the breed. I own a red nosed pitbull who thinks he's the size of a Chihuahua. He's a big baby too, but still only about half the size of my aunt's Newfoundland.
