Massive Long Reach Hitachi EX1200

Foyle & Marine Dredging Ltd's new Hitachi EX1200 with extra wide undercarriage and two part articulating boom. The machine has a reach of 30m and a digging depth of 20m. It will be mostly used for the placement of rock armour in revetments on sea defence projects. The EX1200 can be seen here working at Dundee port in Scotland.

Sweet looking machine no shortage of power for the job there but weird for me seeing him digging with such a long arm/dipper/jib.....🤔😀😂 probably not for operator👌🏻
