Coming from Australia where it is 43 degrees Celsius at present I find ice fishing unbelievable and incredible to watch. I’m addicted!

Nice patience while hand lining a big fish like that. Takes a good feel to know when to let them run vs snapping your line .

Awesome video. Just had a laker trip fall through cuz can’t camp on ice on Clearwater lake in Manitoba. Might have to just save our money and next year come to athapap. Those are some tanks

Thanks! Yea Athapap produces a lot of giant fish! Definitely worth a trip. I believe you can camp outside of the provincial park boundaries also but definitely want to check on that one

Heading for Temagami in march for lakers. Hoping for a big one. Btw love the abandoned lodges videos.
