A little behind the scenes. While we decided to add JRM to cup fairly early in the season, it took awhile for its current form to take shape. We decided to have Jr. buyout SHR shorty after the irl rumors that SHR and Front Row were going to merge started. The numbers took awhile to decided, mainly because we couldn't agree on RCR's numbers. We went back and forth on RCR's numbers, both when deciding what the 3rd car's number would be and when we talked about giving JRM the 8 and both times it was between the number they're now(31 and 33) and the 29-in the end having each number have a 3 in it won out. We had Gary announce RCR's lineup first as a hint to JRM as the 8 would be available and like Gary mentioned we were surprised no one seemed to catch that. We do read your comments and were glad not many people were guessing JRM going to cup. Cachinero has made some fire schemes for JRM so look forward to that next season.

Following the regular season finale at Daytona, Joe Gibbs showed a lot of frustration with Christopher Bell about not allowing Denny Hamlin to win his way into the playoffs. This could be a big deal, if they don’t get things back going, then there’s a decent chance Christopher Bell loses his seat at Joe Gibbs Racing.

Im not a fan of hamlin,But god damn,That was heartbreaking.The fact you did everything you could to push hamlin to the win but bell simply didnt let off and moved to the side(The ai in heat 5 Does not have teamwork coded into their system apparently.)But Such a sad way to end Dennys Heat 5 Career.But I hope you can go get a championship for him in the playoffs Gary!

Idk if you saw my comment last video but noted how it would make more sense for Joe Gibbs to run the #81 like They do for Chandler smith irl rn. I think if they wanted to bring it back they would’ve had it back for xfinity but 81 starts a new legacy. I don’t think 11 or 18 will ever be used.

Sheldon Creed has been driving the 18 irl for JGR in Xfinity this year, and last year it was Sammy Smith. and in 2022 they ran it has their part time car. I think Creed signed on first so that's why he got the 18 while Chandler was bought out of his contract with Kaulig a little later so he got the new number.

JR Motorsports to cup. It finally materialized. Kaulig Racing will announce the shutdown of their Cup program probably after next race. They will stick to Xfinity and Trucks. Hendrick is expected to communicate LaJoie's exit from the team, effective immediately, as well as who will finish off the season in the 48. For next season Kyle Busch and Sammy Smith are prime candidates for the ride. Both of them would bring new sponsors and partners to the team. As for LaJoie, he may end the season running some of the final races in Andretti's 98 part-time car. Wawa will expand their involvement with Larson becoming the new main primary sponsor of the 5 car for next season. 23XI Racing is said to be renumbering Reddick's 45 car to 11 for next season as they would finally run both the 11 and 23 and expanding to a 3rd car for up-and-coming talent William Sawalich. RFK Racing is advancing to become a 4-car team. Chase Briscoe is said to be in talks with the team about that possible ride and RFK is really interested in him as he will bring sponsors like MoneyGram, Haas Automation, Mahindra Tractors and HighPoint. I can see it being a gray area on plate tracks. Not too much anymore because of the fuel savings strat but drivers have pulled out of line and moved to the back of the pack during plate races, plus helping teammates and OEM mates is the name of the game on these tracks. I have two examples of something similar to DH11. In 2022 Reddick pushed Dillon to the win at the Summer Daytona race, though his car was damaged so I don't think he would have been able to a led car in a line. Then in 2023 Dillon would have absolutely pushed Busch to the win during the Daytona 500 if that race went green. I've always viewed that rule as don't screw over your competitors to help your teammate advance.

@@Ar-Telcontar didn’t JGR also do this a couple years ago in the fall Talladega race where all four of their cars dropped back to the rear and ran there the entire race because they knew they had all four cars in the next round and it made sense to not want to tear up any of their cars in the process due to the infamous big one
