Ron and I go out for the biggest road bike / gravel bike ride of my life. Riding well over 100 miles and more then 12K ft of elevation. I decided on taking my Titanium Stinner Gravel bike with 700c wheels and 42mm tires out for this epic cycling adventure. We road to the Gifford national forest, did a gravel loop in the forest and road all the way back home. Getting back well after dark. Buckle up this is a proper cycling advenure!

There may be different ways at different times. After some big rides, I gladly took a rest on the next day as well. However, once I rode about 220 km (over a highland region) to join a group of riders on their adventure trip (catch up with them). Next three days we rode on, about 100 km stages each day, and it worked surprisingly well for me. Probably the good effect of "recovery ride(s)" you have mentioned . :)

That looked like one beautiful day to be out on an epic ride. The scenery has gotta help. Did Ron have a Coke and you a Pepsi? Nice that you can still be friends :) The sunset pizza shot was a highlight, and I like the (intended or not) touch of the 'ride by the numbers' having a bit of colour now that you are using the Roam, haha.
