Switched it up this year in the mountains and actually used my slug gun. Savage 220 bolt action with the Boyd's thumbhole stock shooting Federal Trophy copper 2 3/4in 275 grain sabot slugs.

Massive doe! I use a LOT of rifles deer hunting. I take 2-3 on each trip since I load most of my ammo and like to try new stuff. I also shoot left hand. For fall 2024 the first rifle I'm taking is a 270-7PRC I'm building. Should have reamer in a month. Will test 170 BVLD and Nosler 165 ABLR
