massive culvert unclogging. log jam. 1/29/23

FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.
this one was a doozy! we unclear to the best of our ability a log jam at a large culvert. we still have some left at the end and hope to come back soon to finish it off. Jen knows that her pants were wet and it looked like she couldn't hold it in. lol. :) she sat on a wet rock. lol. hope you all enjoy this!

Tomorrow’s video will feature us going back to take care of the rest with a chainsaw. We mentioned a couple times in this video that we would be going back with my dad with a chainsaw.

Don’t release too much beaver dams in the winter because the beavers will die
You ladies do an awesome job. People comment about the branches being put down stream because they don't realize they break down. Keep up the great work.
If you got the water flowing through so if you had has come hard rain it will have a place to go. I’m sure dad will come and help you get rid of those big logs. Best of luck. You guys do an amazing job.
Your determination really showed itself with this one 👍👏
You ladies are like machines lol! Well done! 😊
I had to ignore the notification bell as I had a med appointment to get to. As soon as I entered the house, I plopped down and watched. Lol….I held my breath then clapped as mom hopped on that log! Fearless woman there…good job with trying to move all the heavy logs. 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

you Ladies did a good job you moved some heavy logs. stay safe
That was a massive clean up for the pile u all had to deal with. Ty for sharing
Thank you for the intensive labors today. Great jobs! ❤❤😊😊
You don’t have to apologize for keeping yourselves safe. A broken ankle would really put a damper on your day. 🇨🇦
Good job ladies, throw as much as you can downstream. No point in putting it back on the banks only for another storm to put it back in the water and cause another clog. Deal with it once and be done with it, It's gong to end up downstream sometime anyway.
You two are very tenacious! 👍🏼
Opinions are like butt holes….everyone has one 😂 especially when they’re sitting down watching not working……you girls keep doing what you’re doing….personally I think you’re marvellous ❤🏆❤️
I wish I could go with you! This looks like a fun job that helps the rivers, great job ladies!!
Yess girl power!!! Well done, both of you! Loved it 😊
I love that your family all work together doing this. Great job.
Great videos and you work very hard and get there in the end. Sometimes you might try getting hold of the extreme ends of logs, together, and that way have much better leverage, so you could pull them around, and get them to the side, rather than grabbing the middle, which is way heavier with less leverage.
Aloha 🌺 Great job ladies! Such a big job! Those branches are huge! Please take care! Aloha 🌺🥰
That looks like hard work but it also looks like fun.
Y’all do a great job not to be rude but if people don’t like the way you do things they can just move on to something else.

I TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LADIES ANOTHER JOB WELL DONE 😊
Great job ladies clearing that big blockage!
You need one of those battery hand held chain saws. I don't think they are real expensive. But it would save you a lot of pulling and time.

Great job ladies. Sometimes you make me laugh. But you two work so hard and eventually pick away and then muscle those pickup sticks down the creeks, brooks etc. Thanks for the entertainment.
Love your videos. Enjoy watching you two tackle the culverts. Great work
That was a hard but great job done
Great job. I can’t imagine how much water had to come through to move those massive trees.

True. I wonder if this was caused by a big storm or is the product of years of neglect.

You tell’em, and I agree! As I sit on my ass eating while watching. 😂😂😂
I agree with miss Jennifer, let the current take the limbs down stream.
that is a fair amount. you both arre doing a great job. don't let the negativity get you down. just say dilligaf ( do i look like i give a f**k) to them
Great Job 👍🏾I love watching these videos 😁
So close to the finish line. Good job ladies!😊
Y’all needed daddy with the chainsaw!!! Great Job Ladies ❤
Just watching your latest post, such a great job ladies 💕 Loving the new camera angles 👍
You done a good job clearing that out 👍
Great job ladies. A hot bath will feel good for your achy muscles.
Why do people comment negative on you throwing the wood trough the culvert. If the tree didn`t get stuck on the culvert, everything would have gone trough anyway. *Sorry for any mistakes. I live in the Netherlands and Englisch is not my first language
I wouldn't let the dummies making stupid remarks bother you. Sticks get washed down stream. You throw out the one's thats water logged. The one's making the remarks are probably to lazy to get off the couch to do anything. Keep up the good work
Heck of a good job! 🎉
you ladies are amazing
I do watch in America. I watch old guy. His dad planted hard tree when he was born. I think in Northern state. The beaver chomped all around the tree so killed it. He stayed out all night long with his shooter for nights. He got it. Love you Americans more than you would think. Love, Ray.
Good job!
Use another 2-3 inch limb for leverage loosen the larger branches!
If i were you i would send everything through but you guys know best.
wow, what an effort in trying conditions. Well done.
Good job ladies that wa a tough 1
You ladies are amazing
Great gloves!
Good job ladies love to watch you guys 😉😉 🐸🦃
You could have done with the chain saw today .
always work smarter not harder, proper tools for the job and your dad for the rest.
Hi ladies hope you’re doing well love from England
To get rid of the really big trunks, I'd suggest using the branches you threw to the side as a sort of lever. Or am I thinking wrong? Anyways... Stellar job, ladies!
You should both be wearing Wonderwoman outfits. I’m sure you could fly if you set your minds to it!
Vocês merecem 1000 likes .....parabéns !!!!!
You all work so hard.
this is the real strong lady,,, 👍👍

Great job as always ladies ❤ignore the armchair experts 😊let them do there own videos
Well done
I love your mum. Not a bad thing.
I would MUCH rather you put the debris downstream than have it bounce back off the ubiquitous barbed wire! Nature handles these things as it has handled them far before we started building roads across water after all. 😅
I thank you need a Saw saw with batteries it will work better thank it been really nice taking me with you do more like them
A chainsaw would have helped a lot. They make battery-powered ones. Good work!😀
Your mom is sure a workhorse, she just dives n and won’t quit, lots of big logs today.
Well done you ladies certainly put your backs into a tough job love watching you i am in the UK otherwise would love to give you a hand. invest in a shovel or spade so you can dig out a bit under logs that might help the flow or help to wash them out and make it easy to remove them.
That big log is stuck on the ceiling, because of the log underneath it. However, that log in the middle rests with a small portion on the log under it. When you look at timestamp 58:25-28 you see the movement of the log in the middle. Tjo avoid accidents push or pull the log in between at its side next to the tree towards the second inlet. By doing so the log in between will fall of the log under it and the log won't be stuck on the ceiling any longer.
Do you guys have a link to donate money to like venmo, cash app, or PayPal. Or even a P.O. Box to send supplies etc. To help with the cost of buying garbage bags, gloves, or other supplies. Not saying you guys need the help but every channel that I am subscribed to that unclogges things like you guys have links and p.o. boxes so if someone wanted to donate to you guys because people really like this content and want to help people succeed. 😊😊😊

Hello from Uk. Your mother is one tenacious lady. I am in awe of you. Question why not buy / obtain rechargeable chainsaw for those pesky branches? Keep up good work ladies 🎉❤
Aloha 🌺💐
I have watched videos much newer than this and boy, don’t you had that mini-chainsaw when you did this. And the electric pruner. (I have ordered an electric pruner but porch pirates have gotten TWO of them. I have made it as clear as I can that they must deliver to my backdoor, which requires going through a gate from the alley, but it isn’t visible the instant it is left. I live in a single story townhouse and have only a small patio area where I can grow things. There are lots of self-seeding saplings that I have to get rid of. Hope I get the next one. I am 77 with mobility issues and going shopping myself is no longer feasible.)

Great job as always!! Do you have another video coming out for the unclogging the other side that you guys clogged up or do you think the current will take it. I am just curious because you guys know how strong the current can get. In all the videos that you have done you guys don't have much space to discard the debris because there is alot of barbed wire fencing around. But anyway you guys are doing a tremendous job unclogging everything, and just be safe and be aware of your surroundings of snakes 🐍 and beavers 🦫 . Great jon Jenn and Mama ❤❤

Look for that video tomorrow!
Sticks, twigs and leaves will decompose. Go ahead and toss the smaller stuff down stream.
Maybe get a small saw one of the new ones or go to the pawn shop an get one there cheaper there to cut up the bigger branches god bless u an ur family you gals do a great job lam 82 an can't do much l don't think ur mom wanted to quit
super job considering what you had to do & nowhere really to put stuff
Looks like you could use a little 🧨 tnt to break that mess up
Since you don’t like using chainsaw maybe a hand held bow saw would help you there not heavy and have a very aggressive cutting blade
You quite often take on some big items….you may benefit from a towing/lifting strap to tie around, and give you a much better purchase on those bits instead of wet hands on slippery surfaces…..
You both “Dynamic Duo “ work so hard for your community.. the ones complaining about throwing the sticks in the culvert probably are sitting in their lazyboy’s judging! Sad!
Maybe get one of those hand hold chair saws to help with the big limbs
You gals should get an electric saw
