You are so right Dex....home grown is now the healthier way because much of what is found in the supermarket or grocery can no longer be called food but rather factory products. The highly processed products with all of its chemicals and artificial preservatives are why humans are becoming so weak and prone to disease. As always I wish you the best of luck and great success my friend :)

Please, do you mean that you are producing catfish naturally, and not killing of the male catfish brooder? If yes does also work gariepinus catfish or African catfish ? Please kindly let me get your reply urgently. Afarmative yes will do tanks a lot in advance.

  • @beatricefayemi171

Yes, you can breed African catfish without killing the male. Some people inject the female with ovulin to induce the production of eggs, but you don't have to. Make sure your male and female broodstock are kept in separate tanks. When you are ready to hatch, put both females and male together, preferably at night by morning you will have your fertilized eggs.

I think it's within a week. In the first 3 days, they have a yolk sac, which they feed on, and then you introduce feed, which contaminates the water.
