This cover almost transcends being a cover, turning it into a masterpiece of its own. It feels like an entire different song, becoming western sounding, like it could be in an old school Clint Eastwood movie or an episode of Deadwood or Justified. Wonderful piece.

Such a beautiful take, on one of my favorite songs. Such wonderful choices to express the depth of the song. Was listening to José González’s arrangement yesterday, and after I learned it I was curious as to how others have done it. So cool finding your arrangement all these years after you uploaded it!
