    Tip for abandoned facilities to look truly abandoned: replace all paths with the rock brush. I know the lack of paths sounds like heresy to you Evo lol, but seriously it makes such a difference!

    Just occured to me: you could make a post-apocalyptic settlement with a "junk wall" to keep the dinosaurs at bay with all the crates, cages, & containers. In fact, you might even use the various containers as alternative security fences too.

  • @Geister7

    @Geister7

    That's something I've been wondering and I haven't seen anyone try it, if you can use the containers and barricades as fences

    It kinda works. I've tried it, but only certain decorations have the proper collision to truly make that work. I think. Honestly, it could simply be that the distance apart at which I had placed the decorations was just enough for certain species to slip through.

    Another impressive build! There's never anything that doesn't look like it was absolutely meant to be there, quality and quantity in spades. What really surprised me when installing the game was how little hard drive space the game takes up. 7.44gb is impressive, especially considering the size of many of the dinosaurs and the size of the parks and facilities that you build. You get so much out of seemingly little. I think I'd rather wander round your research facility when there wasn't a high chance of becoming a light snack! Looking forward to the tour all the same though.

    The background music really appealed to me with the theme of the park. I was a bit tricked by the circle fences thinking it were aviaries. I am quite surprised by the appearance of the Sucho which is interesting to see.

    Watching things like this really bring it home how useful public and staff only gates would be. Heck just allowing paths on the current gates would suffice in a pinch.

    I've been working on a max security looking area for an I-Rex/Raptor paddock. New decorations are great and those small concrete wall decorations can herd the guests in interesting ways, more testing required.

    I remember when this came out… ( 2 years ago!? Time flies! ) I started it but stopped watching when I found out there was no voice over lol. Just came back to it today, I was seeking out tips for building a research facility, you never disappoint. I was just thinking, the slight chance you do ever see this, maybe you could do a revamped version of this, since we’ve had all the recent updates? To get specific, and to give it a little unique twist, and challenge, maybe make a research facility secretly behind a park for guests, where you store and test your “abominations” and rather questionable, hush hush experiments. At least something like that, I know whatever you do it’ll turn out great, thanks Evo.

    The watchtower in the mosa lagoon with the idea of access through an underwater tunnel made me think if that structure was in a JW movie and the mosa or other aquatic creatures broke into the tunnel. Imagine a scene of the heroes desperately running from rushing water and trying to swim away from hungry reptiles 😱
