Fertilising the lawn with the 1155... now that’s what I call yard-work!!

When I was a young man I used to own a 1155 , I almost had a tear in my eye of joy seeing that old iron again, mine had the muffler through the hood . I just subscribed to your channel just to see my old friend again . Thank for making my day .

Wow, a cockshutt 40. That was our main tractor on our dairy farm in Howell when I was growing up. We also had a cockshutt 30

Agree! The cab on that is awesome, plenty of room and fairly quiet. And sturdy!

Pour atf and acetone mix down the spark plug holes , that will loosen up the 40 after a week

Looks great over there JT! You are about three weeks to a month ahead of us here in the Red River Valley. Some land here underwater still from the spring flood. That 1155 did a good job! Any duals for it? Cab interior looks alot like the 1805. Also....clean looking Cockshutt 40 there. How much is wrong with it. I have a 30 and a Golden Arrow here at the farm. The 30 about the same shape as your 40 but the GA has been restored. Hercules power. Look forward to the cultivating and seeding. I think I have the same cultivator!

The cockshutt has been sitting in a barn for 25+ years and is currently froze up. Didn’t fare as well as the farmall c did after a similar amount of time. Hopefully it’ll free up without pulling the head..🤞🏼

@@jtsbarnngrill6873 I am currently working on a Honda twin (bike) that was in storage for about 20 years and was stuck, water in the crankcase. I pulled the oil plug, oil and a little water came out. Pulled the spark plugs and poured both cylinders full of kerosene which all ran through after several days. Still stuck. Then I filled it with PB Blaster for a couple days. No luck. So then I poured automatic transmission fluid in each cylinder and a couple days later got the motor loose with about 50 foot pounds of torque on the crankshaft. So maybe try some auto transmission fluid and wait a week or so? Good luck on it. Looking forward to hearing it run!

Time to pour on the groceries for the next crop I guess. At least fertilizer is a little cheaper this year.

I currently have an 1155 I am slowly going through. Parts are getting hard to find. I just rebuilt the lift cylinders. After mine sits for a bit I get water out the exhaust like you did. Did you ever figure out what caused that? Great job on that tractor. If mine turns out a tenth of what you got there I'll be happy.

Does the 1155 have an inline injection pump? Our 2805 had a CAV Rotary and never loaped like that.

For some strange reason I don't believe you didn't exceed 25 mph while pulling your spreader to pick up fertilizer, just saying. The 1155 pulling the spreader around the field reminded me of a friend who took his 30 ft, 5th wheel holiday trailer for a short drive, then home. He pulled it with a Freightliner that had a 475hp 3406 Cat under the hood. That rig was kissing cousin close to bob tailing.

I thought you sold it? Or was it another MF? I look forward to sowing with 1805 :)
