I'm in for the TV series to be animated. How about them using Unreal 3.8. I believe ME3 was made using UE 3.8, ME2 UE 3.6, and ME1 UE 3.2.

Or it could be that new structure/relay was left by Cerberus and the SA is finishing it or something like that. Anyway in that brief conversation Liara talks about human defiance not about the SA defiance, About some characters (like Miranda) being alive or dead they can make that choice canon like they did with Wrex for instance It seems to me so many people have forgotten that if you play ME2 without playing the first ME game Wrex is dead so they chose for you and I think there's nothing wrong in making certain situations canon and I also think it's unreasonable to pretend they respect every possible choice you can make in the game it's impossible.

Potentially, the Geth could have made it to Andromeda before the initiative. They may have had advancement working with the Reapers that gave them the ability. I'm not sure but if they were killed off in Mass Effect 3. That would not destroy the Geth who may ha e left to Andromeda or elsewhere. Or the Geth exist in a parallel Universe. Hence the recovery of Sheperd theory.

As far as a canon ending being carried over to the next ME game; they could go the Cyberpunk route and have dialogue options that are highlighted for a specific choice (eg control, destroy or synthesis). Cyberpunk does this based off of what life path you choose. Just a thought.

Sorry but in Cyberpunk there's basically no difference people destroyed ME3 saying the endings were all the same and now they celebrate Cyberpunk where the ends are basically all the same and there is no comparison between the story the dialogues and the characters in ME and the equivalents in Cyberpunk maybe people have been lured by the presence of a famous actor but the content in Cyberpunk is poor.

I am 56 and losing more and more vision everyday. I am hoping for this game before I am fully blind. I have completed the trilogy at least 6 times. I have tried 4 times to play Andromeda but I just don’t want Indiana Jones in space, I have never gotten even halfway through it.

We are in the same age range. Mass Effect Andromeda, I don't want to play as some kid in space. Plus, male Ryder sounded like a talk show presenter. Very canned. Like Ryan Seacrest. The fem Ryder sounded like a high school girl.

I'm with ParagonN7 for having a smaller game if it means having a game sooner. I will gladly pay the going rate for the DLC's. This is the way it really should be rather than invest a ton of hours to put all your eggs in one basket and hope you made the right choices. Adjustments can be made for the DLC's.

@@0x8badbeef I'm talking in a practical sense. If we want more games in the future or DLC, you have to make a successful game. Shortening the game and selling it in DLC chunks would be a seriously risky venture. It could get canceled by the community.

12:35 I just realized in this part talking about Cerberus becoming the specter version of the systems alliance that you’re in a way talking about ONI from the halo verse because ONI though they did a lot of good or try to do a lot of good for the benefit of humanity they did some pretty shady things like making the Spartan two program which, if you read from the first book in the series where Master chief was found he essentially is a child soldier indoctrinated to serve the UNMC And was right before he became a teenager surgically augmented to become a super soldier, and then shoved into a robotic suit of armor to protect him, and all of this was originally done not to fight an alien army, but actually to put down a revolution that was starting to become a thing. Was that when the covenant started charging through our galaxy that the Spartans were perfectly built for fighting them, but that’s not what the original purpose was for they designed to be superior to human military force so they could put down human resistance far easier

I think how everyone played their game is how it will be like, Everyone in my ME2 survived so I hope everyone comes back to including the reginal crew of the Normandy, you have to remember ME2 crew at the end showed them teaching others in the Alliance so that might be a starting point for them to blend in the next Mass Effect 5 game.

Could be possible. But with how old the reapers are and very little knowledge of their technology, it could take a while to figure out how to reactivate them

Hey sorry I missed it live but I finally watched it all. Great conversation. I like what y'all had to say and if you want my opinion. My biggest problem with Andromeda is the character designs especially with the asari cuz those are my favorite characters from the other trilogy and the original trilogy they made. Each one look different and it just looks like they did cut and Pace on Andromeda with the and I just didn't like the way they did that and I'm trying really hard to replay it again. It's just not for me to as fun replayability as the original trilogy is

ME5 setting 600 years in the future would be horrible in my honest opinion, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't touch that game. :(

I mean the saviour of the galaxy fighting mercs and crime bosses alongside the Shadow Broker, the krogan clanleader a turian Spectre and warhero and one of the quarian admiral would feel kinda dumb, who would oppose them? Who would romance someone else than their LI of the trilogy? Thats not what I said I want. I'm down for another protag and another story. But do they wanna tell us that there is nothing to be said for 700 years after the friggin reaper war? Massive power vacuum, reaper tech lying around? How are they going to adress the endings and Shepards fate, as Gamble stated in a tweet they would, when its 7 centuries after the fact? With codex entries? Feels kinda lame to me. I don't see a reason why I can't raise my concern about it. Ain't like they'd ever give a shit anyway, the story is 4+ years in the making and they heavily implied already its set around 2890 AD, I just don't really believe in it if its that way
