This was one of my favorite set pieces of the whole game. It's so epic, with the reapers walking in the background and Palaven in view.

@@mrblank-zh1xy I blame EA for that. Two years was not enough for ME3's development. Its a finale with gigantic stakes. The game should've been longer.

The Turians have the best fleets and even they couldn't halt the Reapers. This mission is well made as it's humbling to see the most adept military in the franchise crippled and annihilated by an antagonist that was built up over the three games Mass Effect 3 may have it's flaws but it portrays war and the horrors of it extremely well

In fairness to the Turians, they actually managed to actually inflict an honest defeat on the Reapers during the Miracle of Palaven (with the Krogan's help). It wasn't enough to slow the Reapers down, but it did provide a much needed morale boost.

Look at all those perfectly good ships being destroyed. Still infuriating how many ships could’ve been saved for the charge at Earth if the Council or any entire race just listened to Shep.

Dude. 2 words: concussive shot. Big explosions with fire ammo. 😎

I don't know why people hate that game so much. I can understand that the scenario was quite fast-written, but, the gameplay is fun, the weapons are satisfying to use, the music is good. I can't spit on it like that

It is a good game isn’t as good at ME2 but still decent until the ending which at launch was a disaster it was that bad they had to update it due to fan backlash.

the most harrowing part of the Palaven set piece is looking up at the planet, seeing it burning and the flashes of significant explosions on the surface. It has to be absolute hell down there for anyone still fighting.

@paulmarieboyd I could definitely do that :) I made the map following another guy's exact specifications so it's not the most amazing map out there. But it didn't take too long to make and the guy was happy with it, but don't expect the world from it haha.

Earth was attacked first, the Reapers harvested human husks there and used them to attack Palaven

I assume the reapers brought them with them. Remember the reapers themselves act as giant ships, they’re probably full of indoctrinated species.

No kidding. Plus, isn’t their Shepard a Soldier-class? Where’s the Concussive Shots to detonate setups from Incendiary? Or Adrenaline Rush?!

FemShep has a better voice actor, I think. The male voice just sounds disconnected. lol
