Diptyque. To me, Diptyque is the OG quiet luxury fragrance house. Kayali didn’t even exist when I first got into perfumes. And I started with Diptyque and Jo Malone. No shame on Jo Malone.

Eau Duelle or Fleur de Peau . I have many but those are the essentials. I’m freezing my ass off today in NY and I’m going outside but I’d wear either inside. As for Jo Malone indoors today I would wear Orange Bitters and a discontinued gem which has Snowdrop in its name. That one is my indoors January fragrance.

Delina Exclusif really is such a masterpiece. When in doubt, I always reach for her and the compliments are nonstop!!!

Great lineup! 💜 Amourage can be a challenging Niche house for many because of the complexity of their notes. I’d definitely recommend Material from this house. It’s a safe, entryway to Amourage.

I love your recommendations! I have many fragrances from each of these houses on my wish list, so it’s nice to know where you recommend starting. My first and only Amouage (so far) is Honour Woman. I feel so validated! She is such a lovely, timeless floral with just a little mystery hiding in there. My one and only Xerjoff is Apollonia, and it’s another true love for me. Next up for me is probably something from PDM or Mizensir or another Amouage… Right after I win the lottery. lol.

Thank you Veronica. I always enjoy your reviews and sense of humor. Love Tuberose was my wedding day perfume last May. I just received a decant of Material For Women and I feel it is sweet and powdery. I will have to get used to it but I do like it…I think. I need to try this Honour Woman. I seem to be more attracted to sweet floral non heavy scents right now as well as some Vanillas. Probably due to sinus issues. Anyway thank you again, hope you are doing well. 😊🙏🌸

Hi Veronica! I’ve been following for a while and somehow I never realized you live in VA! I lived in Williamsburg for many years, love that area. My personal favorites from some of these houses are Absolute Aphrodisiac, Atomic Rose, Delina Rosee, Nolita, Rouge Smoking and Yum Pistachio Gelato. I’ve been wanting to try Dama Bianca and 100 Silent Ways for a while now. I’m also really excited for the new release from Initio! I haven’t tried psychedelic love, but your description makes it sound so appealing- I’ll need to get a sample. I’m not a big fan of TT; just not my style. But I’d like to try some from Amouage in the future. I started shopping on Jomashop after seeing you, and it has saved me so much money!

Dama Bianca is so mass appealing but so niche at the same time. I will always have it in my collection. And i am one of the lucky ones that get more than 8 hours on me. I tend to layer it with the bom dia cream from sol de janeiro and it's a match made in heaven.

Love this video. . . . Yes to Delina Exclusif but for Bond No. 9 I would choose Madison Avenue (the one in the pink bottle), she is feminine classy shopping woman easy reach to me. Also, for Fragrance Du Bois, my choice is Secret Tryst. It has been COLD COLD COLD in Atlanta, and hubby has been snuggling me this weekend extra hard (since Secret Tryst is my scent for the weekend!). I agree with you on Initio Psychedelic Love, (I am on my 2nd bottle) and did you see that Initio has a new fragrance coming out!! Great Video, keep em coming!

Bond no 9 is a fabulous house with a variety to choose from and I have not sampled everything but I have 4 fb (including Tribeca ). and a few samples/decants.... personally I would choose either New York Nights bc it's sexy, date night all yr fragrance , pretty versatile and I think it's relatively mass appealing or my 2nd choice would be Gold Coast , a fresh, watery fruity rose, super easy to wear and a very likeable fragrance 😍

Yes!!!! Utopia Vanilla Coco is super underrated. It’s so creamy. So coconutty. So tropical and classy without smelling like suntan lotion. It’s a beast mode white floral with class and youthfulness all in one.

Great rundown as always!! I agree that Love Tuberose is an outlier! Goodness is it yummy though! I love that scent. I need to get Honor! I’ve sampled it from a decant and I really liked it. Delox and Dama Bianca are in my collection as well. I’m not a huge fan of Delina or the Exclusif but I do love La Rosè!! Such a great list and I’m trying to only buy Niche this year but if it smells really good I’m a sucker!!❤ I do love Psychedelic Love and Casilli has become one I wear almost like a signature fragrance. Of course it’s so expensive! Par for the course for me to pick this! I can’t get enough! It’s really grown on me!! I haven’t bought Pas Se Soir but it’s on my list!!😊

Hi Veronica. 🙂 These are good picks. 👍 All of them can be pleasing and not too scary. To my nose, Psychedelic Love smells like a gentle, sweeter and much friendlier Black Orchid. My first Initio was Musk Therapy. If you like musk, it's an easy pick. My first PDM was Casili, mostly because I had a Delina Exclusif dupe and had smelled other Delina dupes. For M. Micallef, Note Vanillé would probably be an easy choice as a first purchase (or Ylang and Gold). This was really fun. 😊

My 2nd BDK was Pas ce Soir... First Nishane was Hundred Silent Ways... Fourth Xerjoff was Dama Bianca... First Bond No9 was New York Nights... All of these houses have something for everyone.

Psychedelic love is so underrated. I love this fragrance and it last more than 8 hours on me. It heavily complimented too.

8 out of 10 of these houses I own🤪. The only change of what I have would be Oriana instead of delina exsclusif. I wore Oriana the first time in July to a VERY important event. This is a very helpful video, niche is too expensive to get wrong. 😆 especially since I prefer more feminine fragrances 💓I think no matter how experienced my nose gets, I’ll always prefer the more feminine fragrances. No matter designer or niche 🥰

Yes, that’s a great idea to get samples first before buying big bottles. I have the Kayali Vanilla 28 in 100 ml and the Musk 12. I like the Musk 12, however I don’t like the Vanilla 28. My Vanilla 28 will sit on my glass tray in it’s box forever. Vanilla 28 is a very different vanilla and it is a very heavy Vanilla. I could blend it with other scent notes, however I’m not good at blending perfumes together. I don’t a channel or on any sale site to sell things. So I have learned my lesson on buying expensive perfume, specially if perfumes are over a hundred dollars. I don’t mind spending under 30 under with out samples. So yes, buy samples if you can. Love your videos and advice ❤

I know what you mean. Blind buying gets easier (sort of!) with time but when someone is first building their collection, it's very helpful to sample first if possible. No one wants to feel like they wasted their money! Thanks for watching 🙏🥰💖

Coco 21 is the safest! I absolutely agree! I get complimented all the time I prefer it in colder temps ( my skin chemistry is so rude & wont welcome it in high heat 🤣) I really really need to try Delox the reviews are so mixed! Did I hear sale ? 😉 I’m still searching for my perfect Amouage I don’t mind unusual scents at all but something about there fragrances always end up animalic on me ( yes 🙌🙌🙌🙌 let’s talk about the white florals super feminine & classic ❤❤❤)

Very solid suggestions from these amazing houses! There a few I do not own any from, yet, such as Bond N 9 (their bottles turn me off 😂) For Kayali, I think the Vanilla 28 is mass appealing and an easy reach from the brand, but my favorite is the Utopia… as for PDM although Delina exclusif is one of my lifers, I find the La Rosée flanker could be slightly easier to like as it is fresher. At the very top of my list is Oud Jaune Intense from FDB, i smelled them all a couple months back and fell in love with it, I’m just waiting for a good sale as it is quite steep

From your list I have Dama Bianca -absolutely love it! And fron Xerjoff/Casamorati Lira. I'm very curious about Xerjoff's Allende which nobody one KZread seems to have reviewed. I also have Pas ce soir, which I got as a Christmas present but ... well, I guess this is very pedestrian of me, but actually (in the fruity-floral genre) prefer another gift, Valentino's Donna Born in Roma Coral. Maybe Pas ce soir needs some summer (warmth, sun) - where I live the temperatures are blow -20 C (about -5-6 F) but to me it's not quite sweet enough... even a tad unisex (leaning masculine). I won't give up on it though! Summer will eventually come. My scent preferences show my age 😅, I love Dolce Vita, Poeme, and the last time I fell seriously in love was when Tresor Midnight Rose came out (2011?). But I have bought repeat bottles of La Nuit Tresor Nude and A la Folie, so only 4-6 years behind the latest trends 😂. Really looking forward for your designer video! Please keep on being you!

I am new to fragrance and am really enjoying your videos. I have added about 50 fragrances this last year and hope to keep adding to my collection and your videos are helping guide me. I usually buy a sample first from twisted lily or other discounted site. I like the 2-5 ml.. I also hate scent spilts tiny little dabblers- so hard to tell if you like it from that tiny dabber sample. Thank you for the videos 💕💕

You mean lucky scent with the dabbers? Argh, they are so annoying. I’d really like to buy more from lucky scent because they have good inventory but those dabbers! You do get spray samples from scent spilt and from twisted lily, which I find much more sampling friendly!

Hi Veronica! What an awesome video idea! I'm kind of the opposite, though, especially with niche. If I'm going to shell out on a decant to test niche, I'm looking for something that sounds like it will smell different than anything I've smelled before. Maybe not completely wacko, because I try to be considerate of those near me, but not something I'll be able to say, "Oh! That smells like Blank Designer #1 or #2." To me, scent is an adventure! So I humbly request as a follow-up to this series, please do one for those who are looking for something outside the lines. 😊 But, again, this was a great video and I agree with your choices that I'm familiar with!

I agree! Scent is an adventure; however, many beginners to the hobby would prefer easing in gently. This video gives those folks some idea of relatively "safe" entry points before they join everyone else for the "adventure" part. Kind of like a zero entry pool. 💖

Hey Veronica! Starting out on my fragrance journey, I knew I loved unisex fragrances and have mostly lingered in that corner but when I bought my first rose heavy scent, specifically Initio's Atomic Rose, I've completely switched gears into more feminine leaning notes. How is it so girly-sexy but somehow still unisex? Magic. Amouage has had a chokehold on me, which surprised me. Is it loud? Yup, but my GOODNESS is every scent a touch of fantasy. After finding your channel, Tiziana, Xerjoff, and, Bond No. 9 are at the top of my list! What incredible range these houses seem to have. Can't wait to dig in. 🤤

The idea of being able to do one round of sprays (and not heavy-handed, mind you) and still being able to smell these unique powerhouse fragrances the next day after a whole night of drinking and dancing is MIND BOGGLING to me! Lol Would love to get my hands on more but those PRICES. I'll keep dreaming. 🤤 Good luck deciding! Please let us know your thoughts if you do get to sample. ✌🏽🩷

At 20:30 Fragrance du Bois "Oud Juane Intense" smells [exactly] like the inside of The Mirage hotel in Las Vegas smelled during the 1990s. From 1989-1998 The Mirage, The Desert Inn, and Ceasars Palace were the "Premium" hotels on the Strip. They pump the fragrance into the venelation systems which them goe into the casino, lobby, shops, restaurants, and spa 🏖🏝

@@VeronicaSays I smoked for 30 years! I started when I was 13 in in1983(back then nobody cared if you smoked as a teen) and I just quit 2 years ago. It's a very strong addiction. I only quit becuase I got Covid-19 and I [had] to quit because the Covid damaged my lungs. I didn't want to die.. so I quit. From 1989-1995 The Mirage was the Wynn of it's time.. and was the "It" hotel on the strip. 🏝🏖

I'm 100% on board with your definition. Utopia Coco is fantastic and I find it very appealing. I wish Kayali would keep their names simple. Some of my favorite "mass appeal" Niche are Clean Reserve Skin, PdM Galloway, I Profumi di Firenze Muschio e Ambra, Lake & Sky 1111, Creed Aventus Her, Creed Silver Mountain Water, Rosendo Mateu Nº 5, Initio Musk Therapy, Perris Monte Carlo Ylang Ylang Nosy Be. My list may be a little bias because I love Musk, but this is my list from my collection. Thanks Veronica for sharing

I've only tried Delina exclusif from your list Veronica. Shame on me 😂 Psychedelic Love sounds good. I'd suggest Musk Therapy would also be a good entry into niche fragrances. To me it's an easy reach, non challenging fragrance suitable for all seasons. Have a great weekend 💖💖
