Dear Mike, a simple repair job but done so beautifully that no one would ever know there was a problem. You are a real craftsman and am very happy to learn new things. Now have a project in Somerset County fixing my daughter's "new house". Needs lots of Concrete and masonry repair so you have been a God Send for me. Thank and May God bless you and your family.

It's amazing that you just use your imagination and years of skill to make masonry repairs look easy. Your skills and simple approach to things never cease to amaze me. I used your techniques to patch up a brick wall on a job one time. My father was a mason and I just remember him telling me he would never teach his worst enemy the trade. I've built many things in my life carpentry welding fabricating etc. I find masonry work extremely difficult requiring thousands of hours to get remotely good at. My hat is off to you and to other Masons that make these jobs look easy because they are far from easy to do. You've earned every dime you ever made in your life and I have the greatest respect in the world for you and all Masons. It's good to see you Mike!!!

@@MikeHaduck I'm shocked that you actually saw my reply on your one year old video. I've discovered your videos in the past month and I can't stop watching them. I never thought I would enjoy brickwork and cement work so much. I am a machinist who works with steels and aluminum all day every day, but kind of wish I had become a brick mason. I LOVE that you can do all your work with only 3 or 4 tools. If you lived in the Detroit area I would invite you over for a beer.

@@MikeHaduckMachining is turning into a dying trade in this country too. The young kids don't want to work in shops, they want to be on computers and cell phones all day. It takes more skill and brainpower nowadays to learn the art of cutting, drilling, reaming, and boring steel and learn CNC controls too. Most young kids don't have what it takes. It's a shame.
