This was amazing Mirock, I loved the brass detail you put for the numbers. You have a CNC router that was made by the gods! :') I also love that you had some history and images of the old tool makers box.
Beautiful work! That square is part if the second degree working tools described and explained by the "Junior Warden" I explained these tools to four candidates whilst I was Junior Warden (here in Australia) and could recite them at will. Since neurosurgery in 2008 I have great difficulty memorizing text and jokes, etc. I enjoyed my time as a Freemason.
That is the most beautiful tool I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing your talents.
The next amazing project and perfect job by Mirock. Thanks for the inspiration man.

Preposterously good work. The idea to use brass for the numbers was inspired.

Great project and fantastic result - may I ask why you break down the engraving in so many steps ? Seems like you could have done several ops in one setup/workholding ?

Because it is not mass production. I change a lot of things during work. It is "step by step" process of creation and each step I corrected something. And of course possible to combine a lot of here if do in next time
You do that in a cnc i think i can do the same in witt a pantoghraf
Do you have any of the steel squares available?
Another mind blowing project! What is the black color dye you put on the scale, is this something like gun blue?

Usual car paint
I want to know where I could possibly acquire a complete masonic tool chest like the one you have in the beginning of the video. You never really see them complete like that. 🤔
Is it a sanding block or rubber you are using ? Link to sanding block ?
Very nice as always 👌 I perhaps would do something similar of my logo that way. 😀 How was the neusilber to mill?

Thanks! Not easy, a bit viscous but possible. Harder of brass

Mirock's Toolworks I might do it all in brass instead, because it’s “just” my logo. Nice to see and learn some tricks from you anyhow. Thanks 🙏 😊
Does anyone know how to buy his CNC router? Can't seem to get it anywhere.
Шикарно
Thank you for sharing your exquisite design and construction skills. The result is a beautiful instrument, too good to use, except by exceptional craftsmen and engineers such as you.
Jak zawsze. Mistrz w swoim fachu. 💪 💪 💪. Rewelacja
CAN I PURCHASE ONE?
I want one how much ?
What does a piece like this cost?
I ref to know every tool in that chest... Most I recognise but there's one there that looks like circular saw a little bit, what is that
Hmmmmm that took box❤
Wow
Володя дизайн Супер!!!

This one I won't make again plan to do newest
your numbers go 1 through 5, but it looks like it measures 11. is there a reason why you did it that way? or did you forget to account the in between design and forgot to skip the numbers?
Are you making any more tools for the chest?

Will you be making any of these to sell on your Etsy?

The square is, next to the compasses the most important of Masonic symbols. As for the decoration, anyone seeing Masonic symbolism on this piece is delusional. A beautiful piece nonetheless.
What's that plastic thing! 0:58 Bar stock? 3:37 I like your vids. They're not just bearable but very entertaining and give you something actually quite nice at the end. They also give plenty of ideas/methods for people to copy. BTW for others Neusilber= nickel or German silver = copper, nickel and zinc. I looked it up.

I think you didn't choose the right milling cutter for the engraving, I can get a clean cut by hand

@@mirockswoodshop My translation into Ukrainian has not been very good. I wanted to say just what you said, but the translation did not go well. Your work is perfect in addition to having the details that many would have overlooked. Your videos show that they are essential for the learning of many people who start with machining and build indispensable tools. Greetings.
