Masking tape won't peel from the roll? Try this.
I've often had the problem of masking tape not peeling properly. It turns out the glue has set a little. Just warm it up with a hot plate or iron and the glue softens and you can peel the tape normally.

Thank you so much!! I've actually thrown away a couple of rolls because I couldn't get them to tear right. That fixed my problem!
