Using a silicone shaping tool is also really brilliant to apply masking fluid without having to gunk up brushes

I love the spatter and also credit cards. The paints look interesting esp glimmer effect. Good to know that brand of mask can stain. Love your classes!
Love the term “cotton buds” We call them Q-Tips 😊🇺🇸
The potato carving looks like starfish. ❤
Please don’t stop calling them rubbers that’s what they are. I will continue to say rubber. Love the tips. Love your channel

My assistant sighs every time I say that I have to call them erasers because of my American audience :-)

Why? we are english and we say rubbers! They hve to adapt just like we adapt to anerican videos with american words!

Tolerance people. Learn it, live it, love it! Just to offer another viewpoint: We Americans seldom say rubbers anymore, though some middle aged Americans may still get the idea, certainly most whom are younger than 55 yrs of age were converted to use the words condom and eraser back in the 1980’s. Similar to the massive confusion of pants vs trousers vs underpants as compared to England’s Pants vs Trousers and knickers. We have a subset of pants that are called trousers, but all trousers are pants, and nobody wears underpants or underwear outside of trousers or pants. Perhaps you might try putting inadditional effort to be more open minded considering some of England’s popular colloquialisms are quite vulgar here like c uh nt for generally any adult human or f agg for a cigarette, or ff agg ott for a type of meatball. Here those words are so offensive that it is often considered a form of hate speech. Let’s just all try to get along? And “Have a lovely day!”💕💞🥰😊
Those Jackman colors are gorgeous!
I ticked "Like" but it was more like "Love". Thank you for this video. All sorts of ideas.

Malaysian here! We learned british english, so we called it rubber. But it seems as we get older we watch american tv shows and read off the internet that our vocabulary just morphed into saying eraser instead xD
Nice and~ inspiring video Michele!

I love these tips. Thank you so much.
If you load a brush with very soapy water, you can do your masking and rinse it right off! I only use a cheap crafting brush (not a fine one!) and it works great! Just get the soap up to the ferrule. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for sharing, Michele…love it!
Wonderful tips, you are such a resource of knowledge.

Dip your brush or toothbrush into a strong solution of washing up liquid & water before masking fluid & if using it a lot, I wipe off excess in paper towel then dip in w up liquid & water again before dipping back into the masking fluid. When finished wash your (old) brush & its fully clean for next use. A tip I found out about 15 years ago & it really does work. Thank you for sharing these great tips, given me lots of ideas. 🎨💐🤗

I'm new to your videos Michele (May 2021), but I've learned more from several of them than I did in my high school, college or university art classes (didn't take that many). SO informative! Especially about drawing perspective, equipment and techniques. I am learning so much. Thank you so much for being generous with your time and knowledge. I can't afford your classes right now, but these certainly help!
