@TheGreatest2484
Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say that 100% because Bad Boy still had Mary, Lox, Faith Evans and I think they already had 112. Also Craig Mack was doing numbers before. Ma$e definitely deserved more from Bad Boy with the commercial success he had.

@@TheGreatest2484 I get where you coming from and we do look at these acts now as legendary or at least somewhat legendary but at the time none of those acts were the face of bad boy records. Mase is a legend. The late 90s was his. I hate when legends get older and the young people don’t appreciate them. So sad.
People mase helped start /make famous: Cam’ron, diddy, (taught Jim jones how to rap) foreign Fabio. People he influenced. Fab kanye drake em … both of these are short lists. Respect Harlems legends
Might be the best intro to any podcast, ever. That song is timeless. Mase one of the craziest rappers to ever do it.
Man im almost 39. So i was there like many of you. Mase taught maddddddd niggas the blueprint of rap to big tracks. From his content to cadence hes a pioneer of this rap shit you have to admit.

Listen I am 32 years old I was 7 years old in 97 and mase and diddy was my introduction to hip hop! Those shiny suits biggie passing etc I felt the movement. Mase was like drake 97-99 every single chick had a crush on mase. He took down every single rnb singer actress he was not playing they hate on mase until this day! He is a Harlem legend I hope cam and mase can work it out

Mase one of the realest and dopest. Minds his business, stays out the way and doesnt bother anyone and ppl still bother him. He's lowkey and beshind the scenes and doesnt open up or take his credit that he deserves.

When Mase talked about his regrets and he talked about his friend that he fought with before he could thank him and break him off. I felt that. So poor he took his friends left over shoes. I love Mase.
"I'm the reason they made the dress code" 🔥
Wallo and Gillie are GOATS! When it comes down to the podcast game, you gotta respect them . Wallo be so direct with these questions and he pull the best out of the guests. Gillie brings some humor but also balances out the interview. This is a true art and science. Stop sleeping on these boys!!
