With the mlp costumes, to me it looks like only the front legs are operated, while the back legs are stationary. I agree tho, it does look hard to move in, all that extra weight on the back would be hard to deal with

The polar bear mascot falling in one of the clips reminded me of the time my mom and I went to see Monsters Inc. on Ice in 2006. During the introductory sequence where Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy came out to give the audience a small bit of the premise of the story, Goofy fell down - *TWICE!!* The second time Goofy fell, another skater in the rink (which was a guy in a cheerleading uniform - yes, even guys in a cheer squad wear cheer uniforms intended for them as I've seen the 2000 movie "Bring It On" a couple times) tried to keep poor Goofy from falling, and it didn't go as planned. Thankfully, the guy in the Goofy costume was okay - hopefully.
