I Wado Ryu too! My Master is Susumo Suzuki, hes ded in 1994, he is Japanese. I love my arte Wado Ryu!

Trained with shiomitsu in 84 at digbeh b,ham at p suzukis. Proper hard sparring no pads lots of injuries hard classes real hard.

Are those Kihon Kumite?

some of them are..I see number 4 and 5 among them. The rest are from 36 kumite gata and nage/taoshu waza (throwing set)

I got out of traditional wado ryu because it is so unrealistic in a real fight , even though I got my black belt which means nothing in a real fight!

P. Wragg it would be useful to consider that Shiomitsu sensei, featured here, was a feared street fighter when he first came to the U.K. in the 60s, leading his senior Suzuki sensei RIP to ask him to leave for a period as Karate tended to acquire a bad name with all the maimings he was inducing to "street fighters".

I trained with a lot of Japanese instructors in Wado and I would consider Shiomitsu up there with the best

U mustn’t not know much about Karate
