6years later! I failed the first time nd after watching this video so many times i went today and passed!

Just passed today on my first try thanks to your video. I literally put it on repeat like 30 times memorizing the roads, traffic signs and speed limits. I also was meditating the moves I'd do on every turn, lane change, stop sign and traffic light while watching your video. You're helping many of us out here, Thank you!!!

foreverme.1 Sure, but note that I didn't take the test at that location.

They have added a "Stop Here on Red" sign at the Tech Road & Prosperity Drive intersection on the right side of the road above the "Do Not Block Intersection" sign 1:14. I failed my test today because of this. Make sure you make a complete stop if the traffic lights ahead are red.

Thanks, passed on the 1st attempt!! I can confirm, this is the official route as of 06-14-2018, just make sure to pay close attention to the signs at the intersection of Tech Road and Prosperity Drive. I believe route 2 is no longer in use.

''Stalked'' the cars taking driving test for two times on 12/12/2017 and got my own test passed the next day. All the tests were using the same route. Thanks a million, John.

Hi. I'm taking my test next week and wanted to ask what you did at Tech Road & Prosperity Drive intersection since they have added a "Stop Here on Red" sign on the right side of the road. Do you treat it as a stop sign and then turn right? do you treat it as a traffic light and only turn right when the light turns green?

I assume you are talking about @ 1:13. You do realize that you can turn right on red after stopping in Maryland?

Yeah, I do realize that. I just read a comment (on this video) where someone said they failed their test because of that sign so I was wondering if I was missing something. Maybe they just forgot to come to a complete stop, i guess.

Thanks John, awesome video. Question: when you turn right from tech road into Prosperity Drive, does it matter which lane (left vs. right) you turn into? The road is unmarked but looks like two lanes.

+Allison Barrero From the MVA website: Customers are permitted to use an audio back-up warning device or a back-up camera during both noncommercial and commercial skills tests. Vehicles that are equipped with an automatic parking feature are not permitted to engage this function during the skills test.

Does anyone know the route for Reisterstown Rd? Nervous about going there but it's the closest to me.

I failed my test because I ran out of time to park and it has really stressed me out since then I took it at the one in largo and the instructor was very mean so idk what to do I just want my license so I can stop stressing out

I have my driving test next week and I was wondering if you could do a video of the whole process before you start driving. for example at the start of the test when you get in the car should I put my key in the ignition first then put my seat belt on and start the car or put on my belt first then put my key in and start the car

+manu3l14n1 That's a good idea but I don't know every rule and I would probably screw it up. I doubt the order you mentioned would matter either way (just don't start the car) until you fasten the seat belt. On a side note, this comment was posted on one of my other videos - "So I got disqualified for switching seats with the person (who has a license) next to me before the instructor showed up, apparently I'm not suppose to be in the driver's seat until the instructor shows up. I didn't even take the test, and I didn't know about that rule" Good luck

+John you can be seating at the driver seat, but the person with you must be seating at the passenger seat before the instructor gets in

Yes, he/she could ask you to change lanes or just say you need to take the next right and let you figure out that you need to change lanes. Good luck.

I should have 2 routes on my channel. It should be one of those but the actual route is up to the instructor. Drive around the area. Pay attention to all signs because the instructor will ask you about them. If you are concerned about the route, go to the MVA on a weekday and follow someone taking the test. You will spot them leaving the closed course area. Good luck!

You will see 3 speed limit signs in the video (@:44, 3:50 & 4:07). Each is 30 MPH. I don't know the other limits - assume 30 MPH as well.

I see at least one sign at 0:46 that shows 30 MPH. Watch video closely for more signs or drive the route.

Starting from 1:56 the speed limit is 40 mph
