Never knew her first name was Barbara. In the nail salon I go to, a woman comes in who lives a 60s lifestyle and wears Quant clothes. I love coming in to see her as much as having my nails done. ❤😊😊

The classic hot pants were so modest! We have to embrace them again. Proper hems, something of a inner leg length, proper rise. Too bad her golden age was the age of plastic-fantastic. Imagine her designs in organic cotton. Then I would still wear them. We no longer have tobacco to cover up for bad smell.

Mary QUANT, the British woman, bought 2 miniskirts cut by Lucien David Langman at the Boutique des Arts in Saint Tropez and paraded them on a young model of 16 years TWIGGY in New York in 1966. The Miniskirt creations of Lucien David Langman and the aspiring model were a success in NEW YORK and launched Mary Quant to the forefront.
