Mary-Jess made news when back in Dec 2009 when she won the Chinese version of The X Factor. She was signed to Decca Records and released her debut album Shine and peaked at no. 57 in the UK album charts. She released 3 singles off the album Are You The Way Home?, Heaven Is Empty and Glorious.
