Mary seemed like such a warm and lovely woman. You can tell that Tori inherited her voice, her facial features, and her natural storytelling abilities from her! ❤️

So fun to see how much like her mom in facial manners and ways of talking, Tori is.

This is the first I've seen her parents and it's immediately clear that Tori favors Mary's sentimental nature. It's heavy, caring, concerned, deeply thoughtful, and somewhat mystic. What a relief to finally see a glimpse of what formed this wonderful creature who is unlike any other.

The way of smiling and speaking comes from her Ma!

Almost has me in tears to see the beauty and the lucidity of Tori mom. I lost my mother in 2013 and i know that Tori's mother suffered a stroke at the beginning of 2017 which her wonderful recent album Native Invader has been influenced by that shocking blow to her family. I wish her family the best and i'll always be a fan of the music!

Her parents were so sweet and supportive, it really warms my heart. She looks exactly like her mother, even more so today! And they're so much more similar spirits than I ever expected, the way they talk is the same and they have a similar aura. This is how all parents should be, even though her parents were very religious they were so supportive and open-minded. So lovely.

Soren, there are good things and bad things about being raised in a highly religious environment. It's just like most people's childhoods really, but there are certain unique struggles she probably had to overcome as the pastor's daughter. The yardstick must have been quite a lot to measure up to.
